I tried this game atleast 4 different times and each time i spent arounf an hour with it before I uninstalled.

Its just not very good, its not polished. the combat is whacky and the overall design is lame imo.

I would rather play Diablo 2 with the latest mod that doubles the games armor and skills then DR.

 I respect that you don't like it.  If you had simply said "I didn't care for it - this isn't the game for me", I wouldn't have any questions,  Since you've made soem pretty broad statements, however, I'm more interested in hearing why you feel that way. Can you please give some specifics?

• "Its just not very good" - What's not good about it?  What's your criteria for good?
• "its not polished" - How is it not polished?  Based upon what criteria?
• "the combat is whacky" - What do you mean?
• "the overall design is lame" - How so?  What do you mean by "design"?

LIke I said, I respect that you don't like it. Different people like different things and there's no one game that meets everybody's needs.  I'm just curious about about "why"?

A rip off of Dungeon Siege?  In what sense? "look's like" ? Have you played both? If not, then your comment is hardly objective. The games are very different, after all.  Regardless, both are variations of Diablo.   If you enjoy Diabloesque game play and have a sense of humor, you'll probably like Dungeon Runners, especially if you're a casual gamer.  If not, then it's probabably not the game for you.

Once again, I'm curious about "why" and that's not really an answer.  It's just an unsubstantiated attack.

First off, the devs even call DR a MMO-lite game. It isnt and never was intended to be a true full blown MMO. It is a small, simple, easy to play game that is more making fun of the MMO genre than anything. It is light hearted. I personally love the fact the game is simplistic, diablo-like, and easy to grasp. I like the fact it is a much more casual gamer friendly game than most on the market. Most of all, I love the fact it doesnt take itself seriously and is fun. Last but not least, its the only game with a Bling Gnome. Top that WoW.

Dungeon Runner is what it is, a lite and funny MMO. DR was not meant to have the depth and span of many other MMOs. DR fills a niche , a very tight niche, which cause people to be more polarized in their opinions of the game. While it is not AOC or LotRO, to say it is a rip off of any game is not true either.

If NC Soft could make a game like this, with more of a world to explore, it's appeal would be massive.  I guess I'm looking for a more mature Free Realms with the dungeons, leveling and item base DR has to offer.  Just a thought.

Just wondering is dungeon runners active and a friendly community?
