People still read that crap? Figured they would have shut it down after it became well known that Gianna and Tasos are good friends, and that the comic itself is owned/operated by Aventurine. |

I think he's implying, that anything Aventurine touches, is garbage. I don't care about the drama, but I did start reading the noob comic, after the one that made fun of Ed Zitron's review. I didn't get too far into it. Some of the pages were funny, some made me just giggle, others made me actually laugh out loud, but for the most part, I'd respond with an eh, or a hmm, so can't really say the comic's all that great. It's also pretty easy for Gianna to write anything in her comic. I could make a comic that pokes fun at my best friend hardcore, and he'd laugh his ass off at it, and probably get me back by doing the same thing. I could also write in the very next comic how awesome he is. They're pretty much meaningless words when it comes down to it. I don't really think anyone cares what side Gianna takes. If she flames Tasos, or praises him, I don't think that's the breaker for how people feel about the guy. Those that think the comic is funny will continue to read it, those that don't find it funny won't. It must have a decent audience for it to be at what 351 now? I don't read it, so I'm just going by the earlier posts number. I honestly didn't even think people were still talking about that comic books relation to aventurine. I thought it was pretty well known news, and people just didn't really give a crap about it lol. A comic's a comic. Her feelings on Tasos are really not all that much in the mattering department. Tasos will continue to make his game, Gianna will continue to make her comic, her flames and praises won't be seen by many as a glowing review of the game, or a trolling flame blast. Like the comic for what it is, and the game for what it is, or do not. They're completely different entities. Who cares if the developers of both are friends.:p |

I still think it is funny at times. And to be honest I think she bashed Tasos also because both him and Zitron looks like total morons in the comic. All people making comics, movies and music have their opinions, and I also like music from people who I share no opinions with whatsoever. Just don't use comics for game reviews. And ignore stuff you don't like. Humor varies a lot from people to people so lets not fight about that. Some people like Monty python other like Family guy but saying one is better than the other is just an opinion and that is no reason to fight or flame. |
