Right well here we go. I'm bored out of my mind and I need a F2P mmo that actually has graphics and no item shop. Didn't think that would be so hard but there has to be at least two games that aren't money grabbers. I have a few stipulations: 1: The game CANNOT be p2p. Thank you all in advance. |

Not to be snarky... but you are not going to find it. Any game that has any semblance of decent production values is going to charge you for it one way or another. If you want to play MMO's you need to accept the fact that you are going to be the person who pays to maintain the connections, servers, and programmers. |

So you are basically looking for some charity company that is hosting mmorpg. Good luck. |

what he says is truth.
What I think you meant without Item shop is nothing essential is sold there, say stat reset, or increase Xp.. mostly just vanity items say Appearance affecting clothes are only sold in Item shops. ___________________________________ |

Yeah, free to play games have to have money brought in some how in order for them to stay that way. In order for them to continue to make content, add servers and etc. they have to have money, thus item malls. Some people don't mind spending money on free to play games if it gives them just that little bit of an edge, so be thankful they are like the way they are:p They keep your game free to play. I also can't think of one free to play game that doesn't have a cash shop in some form or fashion. |

Well.. that's not what I said but that would work too. I mean I'm fine playing a F2P game if the items aren't game breaking if you don't have them. For example leet clothing and buying potions or something would be ok, but enchants for weapons, xp scrolls etc would be horrible. |

There is only one game here: Guildwars. It do cost money like a regular game to buy (but you can find it at sales if you look) but it have no monthly fees and no item shop. Otherwise there is just AO if you don't play it with the expansions, but if you want to play it with everything it s P2P. |

/sarcasm on Sure, while I am looking for a game that matches those criteria, I'll go about find that unicorn I tried to find when I was 5 years old. I'll pick up my correspondence with Santa, I wonder if he has email these days. And I had better make sure my cat doesn't eat the easter bunny. F2p does not exist with item malls, because there would be no one to run the game, program it, host it and keep the hackers and flamers out of them. Sorry dude, you might as well ask for sunny skies every day, or believe that you can reach the moon if you climb the tallest tree in the forest. /sarcasm off |

I could have sworn Guild Wars had a Cash Shop. Nothing game breaking, but the guy doesn't want item shops or cash shops. And so I think once again, you're just not going to find a free to play game without a item mall or cash shop. They have to have revunue comming in some how. |

It didn't have one a few months ago at least, the only thing they sold then was some "adventure packs" which basicly is a mini expansion. I havn't feeling for GW the last few months however so I have not kept myself updated. I couldn't find anything when I googled it either but I can have missed it. |

GW has an online store that sells campaign keys and PvP skill packs for people that would rather get straight to PvP without worrying about skill gathering. Nothing balance upsetting, and nothing that you can't get yourself through a few days of playing at most. As far as a F2P game that you can complete without spending a penny , or spending months grinding, there's very little out there that's as polished as GW. |

The campaign keys is just expansions, every company sells those. Yeah, the PvP only skills, I remember those now. If you buy them you can only use them for PvP only characters. If the OP plans to PvE they are nothing at all. If he plans to PvP only he will have to grind the skills he wants for a few days. But really no itemshop worth talking about. |
