Hey guys I haven't played the game for a good 6 months to a year now and I was wondering something about Sniping.  My friend and I always use to play and we hated the fact that one of us could look through binoculars and the other snipe, as a sniper and spotter, but the spotter could never see where the bullets landed for the sniper.  I wonder if they implemented anything for this or were thinking about it in the near future.  It would be an awesome feature to be added, hard to do I guess because of the amount of people playing.  Would of posted this on their main forums, but I think you need to be subscribed to post.  Thanks Again.

The sniper can see his round.....continue to hold the fire button down..keep the scope up and you will see the impact. If you release the fire button, you will exit the scope, reload and never see the impact. You don't need a spotter, be your own.

I know you can do that, but its a lot easier to see farther with binoculars then it is with a sniper scope.

In the early days, before they added a limit to ammo, we used to spot for 88's used as arty.

Used to take out tanks, infantry, buildings and the lot at distances quite far. And no enemy ever "found" the 88, since they usually were placed well behind the front and in cover by terrain, trees and sometimes even buildings.

I miss those days.

Was fun being shelled like that... One spotter with a battery of 88's could cause alot of fear and destruction.

Wait, you miss the days of unlimited ammo? Why?

The problem with a spotter for a battery is that the spotter almost never see the same as the shoter. Hence, it may look to the spotter that the shells hits the target, when it infact doesn't. It has always been like that.

It is only STO that works the way needed to have a forward artillery coordinatot, and artillery shells isn't STO yet. I don't even thing bombs is STO yet.
