hi all i scouted all through the forum without finding to much good ideas, or people that look exactly for what i want so i was like, i'll just ask
1) lots of skills (i loved wow for having more then 60 skill slots used on my screen and i know and use them all 'lvl 80 hunter') 2) group based, meaning you either get to the end level fast and can raid there, or there's a lot of fun to be had during the leveling itself by means of instances, group areas, hard quests, whatever 3) this is probably, together with 1 the hardsest case, i want a game that's not just tank and spank, one with bosses that do actually have skills, at wich you have to anticipate/react/overcome, for example a boss mind controlling and you having to crowd control it (just an example) 4) not a real must, but i like the feeling that i'm progressing, not grinding endlessly for that level i'll only reach in 12 hours of grinding mobs, that's autobot work, mine is to have fun :p 5) F2P, as i can't play WoW for a few months and cba to pay for another game during the break (as long as aion isn't out that is) 6) WASD (ZQSD for azerty), would be real nice, don't really like point and click system, only get's unhandy 7) a fixed skill system would be nice, like in wow all have the same skills, and the same amount of talent points, no exp and TP or whatever divided (unless ofc every level you get that much skill points end of line, like talent points in wow), just makes low-life gamers stronger cause they play more at end level etc, not a must, would be nice
rappelz: endless grinding and without high level pet you're worthles, with pet you're worthless but your pet ain't tales of pirates: in the end this game is all grinding, grinding for quests but still just a grind, and low amount of skills World of Warcraft: this is not F2P but my standard game, has all the options only WOTLK has become easy, wich is a real pity, but i seek my own challenges by doing things i shouldn't be able to do all alone florensia: real slow leveling, i gave up at like lvl 20 after having seen no group for anything whatsoever, also not a high amount of skills destiny online: point and click+epic grind as far as i got EUdemons: this game is all about grinding to 70 in 2 days, and every month after grind 10 more levels... not my definition of a game, should be full of bots i guess, also not much skills Silkroad online: looked promising but because if you don't pay you can't get in cause of the overpopulation of bots (wich ain't going to change watching at the forums) guild wars: played this game when it first came out, became powerfull, got nerfed had to start over with another char (ya know the drill), factions came out, had no money then to buy it, but that was ok i was still a powerfull dude, after that nightfall i guess came out and ALL my chars where useless cause the new skills where so 1337 that you HAD to have them before joining a party (i could only come in most parties as a healer cause i was a pwn ass healer compared to those healing/protection builds that thought they where the best... -.-' never split specs lol) cabal online: didn't appeal to me for some reason, it's a while ago i tried so don't ask me why flyff: real low amount of skills etc runes of magic: most promising till now, not to high lvl cap, nice a lot amount of skills (to bad a tp system) but instances there are just plain tank and spank, they spam AoE and summon some mobs, not really a hard encounter in a good party with decent gear and skills

Why are you all being dicks? He asked a perfectly decent question, and you don't have to flame him. Sure, he makes spelling mistakes, but he may have dyslexia. Anyway... I'm not actually sure if the game you want exists, it exists in P2P, but I doubt it in F2P. Make a filter in the Game List section, something may come out. You're the best judge. Hi :D |

You should try Runes of Magic, when you see level cap is 50 that is 50 per class, your character has two classes, thus the level cap is really 100..

I don't believe there is a F2P MMO that exists with those requirements. You are better off sticking with WoW or trying another P2P game with those requirements such as Age of Conan, FFXI, or Aion. Note that you could pay Aion now on the Chinese retail with the English patch (and it's cheaper than WoW unless you are playing something like 10+ hours every day). If you are looking for something different and challenging (group oriented too) you could try Puzzle Pirates perhaps? The game certainly takes away the aspect of grinding (for the most part) too. Not sure if you are up for trying something unique, but there are a few other options that should keep you entertained for a month or two too that you haven't tried yet. If you are take a look at Dragonica, Lunia, and Atlantica Online too. |

Well if you can withstand the idea of playing a turn based rpg... go with Atlantica Online. However: 1) Lots of skills. It doesn't have that many skills really, It has ~12 mercenaries with 1-4 skills each but they add up i guess(in the sense that having 1 archer that can silence and 1 sword that can attack a single target is different from having 2 spear mercenaries for instance).
There are allot of reasons why i wouldn't recommend it(high level dungeons are incredibly laggy for everyone, the most expensive item shop in the world[although you don't REALLY need the items there they are still nice to have and expensive as hell], etc ) dunno what to say... check it out it might be what you are looking for(it wasn't for me tho) |

YS online from what i heard is extremely grindy and has an ip block at north america, i would suggest Atlantica, rohan and archlord as some other worthy enough free games.Oh and btw atlantica is known for the best item mall as in price/balance, show me any other game that has a better item mall than it. |

Nobody ever recommends Requiem:Bloodymare on these sorts of threads. Not sure it fits all yor criterion, but it was the most polished F2P I ever tried. That and Atlantica were the only F2P I played more than a week. But not much more... |

Maybe you should digg up your own Guildwars account again, that is unfortunatley the only game without monthly fees that are actually fun to play. The nerfs have changed a few times, you might need to cap a few new master skills however. As for the rest I would say that Runes of magic is at least worth a try more, the rest of the F2P MMOs are in a sad shape (I think Ryzom is P2P now, it would have worked otherwise). I havn't tried freerealms however myself, some say that it is worth a try but I wont reccomend you something I havn't tried. Oh, and Anarchy online is free (but not if you want all expansions), it is old but actually rather good. You should try it at least. |

Where were you when Burning Crusade came out? o.o
I also hate All and Every MMO to Date but unfortunetly I am a Addict so I do whatever to try supress that, currently I'm playing a newly released game called Warrior Epic which follow a simular platform to Diablo 2. ___________________________________ |
