Since may 26th, iv been reading a bit about aion and that there was a trial of some sorts.  So i decided to download the client, if you want to try it for your self you can check out this site www.leakerz.com/cms/index.php. IT took a few days to download as my aplication I was using didnt have any one seeding.  Once i got it downloaded though, the setup was farily painless all for the fact that its in chinease.  You can just use babel fish from yahoo to trasnlate what ever you need tranlating.  So i got the entire client on my hard disk , so , i need to install it so i do. That goes well, on the hard disk it ends up being close to 8 gigs with all the updates. O ya, you dont neet to have an account to update the client like soom clients do, warcraft...So after updating and all that, i got the game running. I use a laptop so configuring games can be challenging some times. Aion was no exception, the screen ended up with a resoultion something like 972X648, witch made things not apear. After searching on youtube there was a tutorial on the beginging of aion, and there was buttons i couldnt see under the longin screen where i could change the settings. To be honest the game ran flawlessly on my 4 year old alienware. Any way, you need to register at snda a chinease site for your ncsoft  chinease account.  ITs all in the tutorial. But you just use that account you registered with as your name and password for the client, theres no needing to activate anything like with the ncsoft we all know in the us with some trials and such.

So after i logged in with my ncsoftchinease account, everything worked perfectly.  Theres alot of different character customiz stuff, witch is cool.  Be sure to have your weather turned on in your game settings, as the weather affects are super crazy.  I made a scout for my first character.  In the first pic im holding a leaf, its part of the weather affects i mentioned.  The atmosphere is nothing like iv ever played.  The only thing that i can think of that comes close is Lord of the rings online.  This is the starting area  as i entered into the server.  There were two bots, and you can see one of them to the left of me.  There spaming there web sites for this and that.  Theres so much atmosphere that it took me about 40 minutes to leave the starting area.  ITs realy great.  Even though the server is in china my latency didnt hitch ones, witch i think is awsome.  I mean iv had tougher times playing on servers in the us then this.  Asia does have good isp technoligy though, witch iv read about, and its not expensive.  Any way, the game play conists of your basic bars with clickable buttons, that seem to be normal for these games as of now.  Theres is that little circld you can see to the minimap on the far right bottom corner.  Thats for flying, i didnt get a chance to use it as none of the areas i were in were able to fly.  It must be some type of energy wheel, that lets you know when your about to drop out of the sky.  The next pic is of me in the first town i made it to, not far from the intial starting area.  The minimap turns solid black when you enter into a structure for easier viewing i assume of npcs.  Umm yea, there are a few quests before i made it into this town.  The town, small, was even more amazing then the begining feeling of emersion of the overwelming atmosphere.  Ok its was ok, but it was realy great.  Any way, in the town theres your normal stuff, quests, amror npcs, skil trainers.  There was this chef that had these great bonuses or buffs similar to somthing youd think of in star wars galaxies pre cu witch was realy sweet.  I made it to level 4 after a few hours of play.  Theres sockets in all your stuff that you can use with drops from monsters witch give bonuses.  That was kinda sweet.  As with lineage and other ncsoft games, the stats are some what different then then cookie cutter mmos like wow, and warhammer have.  Oh, the sound, i forgot to mention.  This game has bar none the best sound out of any mmo and game that i can think of.  Every turn and corner your greeted with something fresh, at least it was up to the first city i made it to.

I cant wait to try out the pvp cause i know thats going to be fun.  Im not sure if thats much later in the game or not.  I cant tell you about the grouping system but i know that being able to comunicate with the other players is realy intuitive.  Theres like 8 different choises of things you can do with other character players.  Ill put a few more screenshots up, its so atmospheric.  O yes, the weather, changes alot in this game.  Night time, turns to day time, dusk is prity.  I Realy liked that about the game.  ITs almost like your watching a soothing weather chanel segmant or something.  These were two shots of the sky as it was turning from dusk to night.
