1 - 3 Realm warfare. RvR. Nobody touches this. No Good vs Bad Bs..... 3 realms all out.

2 - Farming mobs still moves the bar. I personally enjoy  farming mobs rather then quest grinding, when in pve. Call me old idc.

3 - Eight in a group. Friggin sweet

4 -  DF is still one of the the best places to roll solo or in a grp.

5 - There are people playing here because they want to be here. Everyone else has been flushed out thanks to many other mmo"s.

6. - My boat, house, horse and gear did not cost an arm and leg .

7 - /level

8 - crafting takes a bit of skill

9 - 50 level cap. Then there is tons to do on a toa or classic server.

10 - did i mention 3 realms?

Look, I know there are negetive points to playing this game.

I have tried just about every fantasy mmo out there. This is home. Take it with a grain of salt , enjoy what is left of it and who is playing. There are folks that will help noobs here and even help players return who have been out for a while.

Stick it out a bit and it will be hard to leave. You know you want to return , its just a few clicks away

I agree. I just recently re subbed and with TOA being easier it s actually a very enjoyable game all around. The RVR alone is pure awesome. I always come back to this great game, best pvp out there.

DAOC is still the best game out right now IMO. I'll continue to play it until something better comes out. After looking at the mmorpgs that will release over the next year......I won't be leaving DAOC anytime soon.

I miss DaoC from time to time a lot. It was my first mmo love.

11 - Thidranki and Molvik and pumping at all hours of the day on the Devon cluster.  That means you can get straight into balanced rvr very quickly and see why this game is such a blast 8  years after its creation!

Edit: Thidranki and Molvik are the level 20-24 and 35-39 battlegrounds, for those who have never played DAOC :)

Good point about the battlegrounds. A great idea in its day and still to this date rolling along fine!
 

I recently re-subbed also. I just can't find any game that I like better. I'm crossing my fingers that this server consolidation goes well.
