hi all, like the title is saying Eve Online fuckes Europe players. how? usa players are paying 14.95 usd for a month playing europe player are paying 14.95 euro for a month that is 7 usd more than the usa platers this is unfair and crasy !!!!! so i want to pay in USD ....... that is not passebol becourse i'm from europe. FUCKERS!!!! what do you think about this most games are 10-12 usd eve online is already expensive and now whit 20 usd even the most expensive online game ever. (for europe players). |

I would pay 25 bucks a month for this awesome game. Hell certain games on the market are so bad they should pay me to play them. You should be bitching about those MMOs that suck ass not a great game like Eve.

OP, you need to stop looking at currency differences as some sort of penalty on you. 14.95 Euros today is same to you as it was last year (adjusted for inflation of course). Your paychecks don't go up or down based on the currency differences between the dollar and the euro, and neither does our paychecks vary here in the states. 14.95 Dollars is same amount as it was last year to us as well, and for most of us, our paychecks have stayed the same, or even dropped in the past year. Its CCP who really takes a hit from US subs, and is not real slam on the EU players.

Well, why don't you all do what I did. move to the US and take advantage of the low cost to play MMOs, the lower cost of petrol, cheap 50 inch Plasma TVs, etc... The only person standing in the way of you taking advantage of the higher standard and lower cost of living of moving to the US is you... But you'll need to give up the cheap healthcare, virtually free education, and many other things you take for granted yet fail to mention... But then again, over here I can buy a gun and shoot people who piss me off... all in self defese of course... |

you must see it like this let europe players pay in dollars and not in euro's and even so that 1euro is not all the time 1.4 dollars it is also to ather country's where every 1 can pay in dollars. so europe players is just paying more becourse thy coming from europe? how stupit is that? and the USA is going broke the country can not support it self only by boring alot of money that thy will never be abel to pay back.................... so dollars is not the same as euro and euro is not the same as dollars ASK 14.95 Dollars OR 14.95 EURO or els you FUCK 1 side always ........... and still the reward for most expensive online game every go's to eve-online

yes that is true but if you look at the title i sayed that eve online put up a new record of 1.415*14.95= 21.15 USD for 1 month for europe players and i think that is a fucking the europe players. you can not say that 1 euro is 1 dollar that is stupit so i want to pay in dollars and that is not passebol becours i'm form europe |

since there are no eu/usa servers you can buy gamecards for us.. from web, and use them , probably cheaper https://secure.eve-online.com/etc.aspx
list of approved websites, second on the list got 60 days gamecard for 34.99$ ( 27 euro/2=13.5 for month) or so , buy them.. enter code.. skip whole eur thingie, if you new buy http://www.game.co.uk/PC/RolePlaying/MassivelyMultiplayer/~r339497/Eve-Online/?s=eve its cheaper than 2 months + activation + you get fancy box and all the mumbo jumbo..
what i hate is that everyone asume, that everyone in europe gets paid in euros, and earns more than everyone in usa.. half europe still doesnt have euros, and earn half of usa, with its currency, and then you have to divine by another 3, to make it into eur.. to make it simple, 15 dollars/euros you use to eat for a day, with same ammount i can eat for 1-2 weeks... meh im so gona emigrate from this shithole country >_< http://smikislt.mybrute.com |

i agree first of all it is not tru that you make alot of money in europe and sec healt is very expensive here also food is not cheape that the USA fucked up there own country is not our problem thy don't know how to work whit money !!! that is why your valuta is fucked up.

Just a small remark, the fact that the US dollar has a lower value than the Euro these days is largely because of your government's deficit spending. As far as I know, nor the GDP per capita nor the purchasing power parity of the US has changed significantly in comparison, that is to say, relative to those of the EU-states. In other words, our economy is just as stable or unstable as yours. Also, the current exchange rate was already pegged before either of our economies started crumbling due to the financial crisis. Basically, your money is worth less because your government has a huge debt which doesn't really encourage demand for your currency. But you still earn more than we do (GDP is quite a bit higher, even per capita, last I checked). So in fact, in general Europeans pay more for the same service (Eve Online) while earning less money, even with the better health insurance and free schools. So really, even though the OP has horrible spelling (passebol?) and probably did fail for economics 101, he does have a point, making abstraction of the greater inequality in income in the US, in stating that it's unfair that Europeans (and we're talking about Eurozone citizens here aka those who pay with Euros) pay the same amount in euros than the Americans do in dollars. Oh, and there's no tax on subs in the EU... |
