Mind ya these are the famous new Vanguard haircuts for males! We gamers are such an ungrateful lot, are we not? We ask for more haircuts and when they give it to us, we moan and bitch again? Seriously, they must have been designed by blind! (Sorry for the distortions, that's how VG looks for me, DESPITE newest drivers ever so often.) Enjoy
Oh, and NONE of them were purposefulle deformed! All of them were applied to formerly normal toons.

I always though VG character models looked horrible in general. Pretty hard to make them look more ackward. |

Yup the bulk of SOE's staff are interns. It helps them pay half as much for employees, but it also results in all thier models looking like shit. |

Wow... good to know all the other problems that have plagued Vanguard have been sorted now and the only the left to whine about is the hairstyles. |

When they announced new improved character models with a heroic feeling I got excited, I thought they would take the dated models and bring them at the same level of the ladscapes, I was wrong, the "improved" characters are worse, they have an even worse body/face composition than before and less skin shaders, in the end it was just a performance improvement without any artist or real modeler/animator behing the changes. And now this, some of these hairs are really hiddeous, they don't fit into fantasy, they don't fit into ancient history or medieval history, most of them are just bad taste contemporary hair cuts... not only bad artstyle, but the execution is also bad and amateurish. Now that AION was able to make it, when all western developers will learn how to make good long hair for our characters? Fantasy setting games need good long hair cuts (for men and women) and short hair styles that are not similar to 1990 hair cuts. This, the "new and improved models", rare and limited updates (comparing to other games from EQ2 to L2), broken content are examples that show Vanguard will always be a second class MMO... it could be different in the hands of talented devs...
