I thought NCSoft stated that there would be no beta for the western release? Is this the "preview" weekend that they've been talking about? And is it even worth it? Are the characters we make going to survive through the actual release? |

Alright folks, I know there have been many questions (rightly so - I definitely understand your curiosity) and I just want to affirm the last post I made in this thread. You have surely noticed by now that not only has this Swedish gaming site launched an Aion beta key competition, but several other gaming sites from various countries have in fact done the same in the past few days. These competitions are indeed very much legit. I don't want to encourage any google translate business, but if you speak the language - please feel free to head on over and get a key! You'll also find that the doors will be opening to even more beta event activities in the near future both in Europe and North America. I would soooooo love to get in on the beta for that one. I'll never pay money for a game without trying it, so it would be great to be able to buy this at launch. |

Chinese Beta was a good enough beta preview for me. I know the western version will be different but I am just waiting for it's release. The reason the community people said there was no beta cause they believe the game is no longer in beta. What we are getting is what they called preview events but since people didn't like that term over beta, they changed it back to beta. |
