So I had another silly idea......

Imagin a BUCK ROGERS and the 25th CENTURY!!! mmo.

We could run around as little silver  Twinky "bedee-bedee" or his golden girlfriend "booty-booty"

saving whats left of humanity!

Or maybe we could roll one of those hot space pirates (remember the queen who kept trying to sleep with good old BUCK before killing him?) and ravage humanity.

Here are some of my proposed game features;

- Play good human or evil hot space pirates to our own player goals

- Party to laser disco music in the bikini lounge

- Fly off world to in our spce ships that sound like fighter jets

- Have sound in space

- Roll a toon like Twinki and put Dr theopolis around our necks and look just like Flavor Flave!

- Roll toons with no arms or legs  and see what kind of adventure we get into ( Dr Theopolis..the clock looking robot)

- Meet WILMA Bucks main squeez

And finialy the games biggest selling feature would be to get down with BUCK and WILMA at the Super laser martini bikini disco dance floor!

Oooo....so whats the level cap?

Will it be PvP or PvE?

And how would its game play differ from other space type MMO's like Tabula Rasa, Star Wars Galaxies, and EVE Online?

I wasn't acualy gona impliment a lvl cap at all, BUCK never had one so I dont think players need one either.

It will be very different from the mmo's you listed.

A) Eve-Online;

Great game but really now, BUCK ROGERS and the 25th CENTURY! would have a crafting system that incorporates a 3D AVITAR like little silver Twinki, in a player owned station. There would be no ice minning either, resourse would be earned by competing on the Super martini bikini dance floor!

Differnt moves would give things like..coal for thrashing or maybe  iron for swing type dancing. The best resourses would (like space tin) of course be earned from shaking your booty booty to laser disco.

B) STarWars Gallaxy's;

Well to be blunt the there would never be a NGE in BUCK ROGERS and the 25th CENTURY!! it's just so far into the future that there will be no need for a COMBAT UPGRADE

C) Tabula Risia;

Now we can all agree the FPS MMO in Tabula was a great step forward, but...in BUCK ROGERS and the 25th CENTURY! the FPS aspect of the game will be so much more and have features like;

- Using lasers with that cool 80's laser sound

- Having lasers in the 80's

- Voice acting with the big names like Tom Jones, Quinncy, BA BArackus (A-Team)

As a matter of fact Mr.T just signed on yesterday to help with the FPS aspect of the game!!

One thing I didn't mention yet was....I was gona save this for later but.....

Buck Rogers & Rings of Power are both great games for SEGA. And I like to see them be redone

Thats a bit of a freaky idea.

Buck Rogers mmo. It is somthing not being done yet tho and when you thik about it every toon in an mmo has arms and legs and such.

What if we could make a toon like this dr.teopolis guy and have no limbs? Rolling around into adventure might be kinda ..well different. I always did like the show buck rogers. what do you people think if this mmo had a class with its only functionality as its brain? We had to always think.

Yeah making a toon with no arms and legs might bring a new experience into the mmo world.

I can't help but think of Duck Dodgers in the 24th 1/2 century.  A cartoony space MMOG indeed.

This sounds like a great idea...but what would be the basis for it?  I mean starship combat, or character interaction, or ground exploration?  So many avenues that can be used...it has the possibility for a great depth mmo.

The basis is to get jiggy with it on the dance floor

I think if the bassis is a social MMo with lots of dancing emotes and maybe SWG like dancing traits it'll be fun. Maybe add a PvP type system ware we can fly in space customize our ships and fight eachother to gain controll of sectors. Perhaps a Hex flipping system, each sector flipps to the other side color when a squadren of fighters takes the basestation or somthing.

I am still working on the game ideas and genral concept, but there are some great ideas that can be used. I really want to get the idea that a player toon does not need arms or lets to have fun. My genral concept here is the player who chooses "Dr. Theopolis " ( no arms and legs) has some sort of major party bounus. Perhaps he could be worn around the neck and provide party bounuses ..but not automaticly!

The armless legless player would need to activate the bouneses and powers and stay up to the party's speed of action.  Does that make sense?

The player who "wears Dr. Theopolis" will then have to be a certin rank. Remember this is two players comming together to make a whole.

I'll add more later ..but ty for all the replys!
