Like stated in the title, I want to play a free mmo but I can't download it, I'm constantly on the move and don't really have a great computer at home. Any suggestions?

Sign up for the Sony Free Realms beta. Its completely browser based and goes where you go.

Also check out Onlive and see video demo of the future of non-download full-spec gaming coming this winter.

LOTRo (Lifetime) + CO (Lifetime) + GW + DDO + TCoS = All fun! All free! All the time! :)

Even with Free Realms you have to download something and store it somewhere, that and it only works on PC's.  I wish I had a better solution or even an answer but at the moment nothing spectacular comes to mind.

Not having an UBER computer isn't really much of a problem since there are many games that will run on older machines, but not being able to download something may be a problem. Like Souvec, I am having trouble thinking of anything decent to play that I would seriously recommend, but I'll mention this one anyway.

Runescape is the only game that I can think of that meets your requirements. It's browser based JAVA game, and I'm pretty sure that you don't need to download anything, but honestly it's been so many years since I've played it that I don't remember anymore. Good luck finding a game.

Also, and this may not work whereever you go, but you may consider buying a flash drive for $5. You can usually find a 1-2 GB one for that price, and while you would still need to re-install whatever game you play when you move from computer to computer, you can still take your game with you at least.
