For all of you out there who have a problem with Darkfall take it up to the suggestions thread or general discussion and start a thread discussing the problems and how to fix it. Also you can try to take it up to Paragus and ask him to compile a list and the solution to the problem with DF. AV has been known to take suggestions from players, I have noticed that they do it often in their patches. As long as it is supported by a large amount of the DFO forums community and they pay attention to it then they will most likely implement it into the next patch. Quit insulting and degrading the game and try to actually do something about it in order to change the game. You guys are not "blinded fanboys" so you all could think of lots of ideas and solutions unlike a majority of fanboys like me. http://www.youtube.com/FEZNuclear |

OP ever heard of the "voice echoing in the desert" expresion? If they failed to adress critical issues that testers were giving them prior "launch" and the only thing they did was delete the post / thread ignore the problem and wish it away then what exactly makes you think that even if people start posting their suggestions, concerns , ideas, that Aventurine will start listening now? If they were listening from day one then they wouldn't be up to their necks in sh*t now would they? As for Mr. I-Have-The-Dev's-Ear as somebody else suggested already he should give the ear back to the devs so that they may start listening to people because apparently they don't. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but IMO Paragus is just another guy that plays the game and asides the fact that he might use that line for a little self-promotion and give some more credibility to his blogs i doubt that the devs really listen to him or at anyone from the fanbase for that matter. i can only propose 2 things to get Darkfall back on track. 1. hire more hands, start to make it the game they promissed,, not a shadow of it. i know its a pvp game, and the pvp is there. but if they want to have more subs than the hardcore core of pvp'ers, they should really start make some of the none pvp stuff they have promissed. 2. sell the game to someone who can make the game the game AV wanted. harsh, but its an option

Aventurine sells, but who's buying? i know i'm labeled a hater and all :) but the idea of darkfall is good, and if they could get it to work, it would be an awesome game for many people, and not just a small group of fans. if someone saw the idea with fresh eyes and thought they could turn it around, it could be a profitable thing to do. (if they succed) |

I thought they had to limit the amount of content inorder to get more players ? That is why there are so few NPC's and mobs, so if they increased the amount of pve content then it would impact the amount of sub's on the server. Is this correct or am I way off track here ? Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |

It would be more feasable to make an entirely new game than to buy Darkfall and all it's baggage. The entire game needs to be rethought. Not only is the design flawed but the execution of that flawed design is flawed. "Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice." ~Greys Law |
