I'm not sure I agree with this. I've been doing all those things and still manage to get my work done. Anyone know if the shop is still open?

I will say this again like before Df opened. No real gamer wants an MMO to fail. Here the problem with DF, they promised the moon and stars , with pet classes , elite classes, player owned housing lots of quest for the pve people to enjoy and yes it is a PvP game but Tasos said that PvE people will have lots to do here also and soooo much more. the haters as you call them where once fans but we woke up and saw this mess coming. Now the real truth is it would have been better if DF would have stayed Vaporware < tho most still call it that > they have launched a game the will more the likly close and burn a few thousand good mmo players . That hurts the whole mmo base in the end. Can any DF fan really think that we <haters> would not love a full pvp/pve seemless world full of great content and action.. AV just craped this mess out and sold it to a few people that really need the MMO fix..time to let this rotting mess fade away and hope for the best in the next game. |

Only the game itself will be responsible for it's success or failure. You give far to much weight to some post on a mmorpg forum. |

i'm not sure the reasons why no one is buying this game much. i know i'm not recommending it to my friends. i tell them that sure, i have fun playing. but none of the cool features (which we've all talked about when mentioning darkfall these past few years) made it into the game.
i have fun. but this game is missing a crapton of advertised features. and with them slowly updating the website (read - deleting features from the website); that just tells me they've completely given up on all of those items. prestige classes going from "we're going to add them shortly after release" to being deleted from the webpage -- that would be the one item i'd have thought they WOULD put into the game...
the majority of people aren't blind fanbois. so, all these items point to dooooooooooooooom, and what's the point of spending weeks afk macroing/grinding in a game where players can hack and fly away in a BOAT, costing a crapton of money/resources/time from the people that made the boat? and then the problem is just ignored, items aren't replaced, accounts/people aren't banned.
then heaven forbid you have billing troubles... what the hell is with that? this is 2009, not 1999. there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for this bullshit in this day and age. you can fuck up YOUR game, all you want to -- but you don't just outrightly steal money from customers. whomever is in charge of this fiasco, at the very least, should be brought up on charges.
if not the entire team for their blatant false advertising (existent still today). could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please? |

Trying to write a rendering engine (twice) and failing, while they could easily license a third-party one and save time to work on all the great features that they had promised? It would even look better. But this needs a management decision that Tacos the Lieing Monkey obviously could not make. |
