i believe that when you join the free leauge regardless of how much the plus of the armor the maximum effect of it is +3 so it will be ok.  pvp is more about the strategy of the player not only the level of it or the armors they have of course it will be a plus if they acquire those but a good strategist will be the winner of it i believe. ive seen many players advance their division  above their level and someone are in lower division with a high level.

I saw that alot of people are happy with Atlantica Online and it is the top rated game on mmorpg.com, so I thougt I'd give it a try. I made an account and started downloading it - 2 hours left until it is completed.

As I signed up on the website, I realised they have an item mall, which is kindof disappointing as I don't want this game to be the kind of game where the people who pay more are better, it's unfair. Is the item mall just customisation andxp bonuses, or is it for overpowered items, etc?

Could some people tell me what Atlantica Online is like? I would like to know more about the battles and PvP, and also how big/open the world is, etc.

On a side note, I really enjoy PvP alot and am wondering if there is any sort of open world pvp, or if it's only organised pvp.

and you can be stronger even though you don't use the item mall!!

and one thing for sure item mall doesn't have a overpower weapons and armors..

all they have is a wings mount and costume for your character and some items to improve your weapons or armors,

like oriharukon but you only get it by chance that's what i dont like the most when i'm buying in item mall!!

well its like an awkward but even if i really want that specific item or mount and  after making promised that i will not used Again the item mall, still after a week i'll buy again haha lol hoping to get the jackpot ^^

This is not a typical hack and slash game.

Atlantica is very cool because even though its better to have friends to play with, you can carry out most of the missions on the stand alone mode. the Turn based strategy is the "must" of this mmorpg, really easy to learn in the first 5 battles. it as a good tutorial inicial sequence that goes on and on till basically you reach level 30 or so. the graphics are very very good for this type of game, and the story line and side quests and fun and compelling to do. You´re gonna like Atlantica if you are a fan of for example for Heroes of might and magic without the action points on the map screen.

its true that you can easly learn this game how to play because in the beginning there are quest that are related on how to use the interface of the game.

Sad to say but almost all F2P mmos rely on item mall. But don't worry, it's not that hard to farm in Atlantica so you can buy mall items in game. And also, it's tolerable to play without mall items. I for one don't buy in the item mall, I just buy my licenses in the market.

As for the battles and pvp. It's turn-based and you fight with up to 9 mercenaries in your party  so it's really all about strategy and techniques. I really don't understand the PK part because I know that when you PK someone you take him by surprise and kill him in just a short  moment. I think the PK here is for the kings.

The world of Atlantica is very big as it includes almost the whole world map. But the teleport feature makes it easy to travel.
