Ive played WoW for awhile and im just tired of it. It got extremely boring even after i took a long break. then i downloaded the CoH trial, and i didnt make it through the full trial it got boring. I also tried AoC, guild wars, and Eve. Does anyone know a MMO thats different, something that would keep me entertained?

Spellborn is actually very different from WoW.  I didn't take too much of a liking to it since the whole entire skill rotation bar really annoyed me.  Other than that it is a pretty solid game.

the only new blood i see coming down the pipe would be EarthRise in the short term then a first ever a Mech Based MMO (FOA by WarDogs) with huge hulking beast, infrantry and  tanks. all player buildable. i'll play earth rise (techno WoW) untill Force of Arms is released.

hmm, ill give it a try.  im just getting tired of the typical mage, warrior, rouge, etc. lol I know it would be hard to come up with something different. But it gets old after awhile...to me anyway.

You're looking for the same thing as the rest of us...  Personally, I'm waiting for Fallen Earth, Aion, Champions, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Mortal Online.  I'm hoping that at least one of these will be something worth spending some time on.

Actually, most of players flocked to play browser based games, they may find it interesting. For me, I prefer to try some trial games lol. Car Racing, Street Fighter...I like these.

I found most of game media site could not find their position on games, like the most popular www.MMORPG.COM, I think some editors drain their brains every day. Because many many crap mails fire them, all of which are meaningless. Evern you could find Chao Online Giveaway, that is very crappy..Even www.mmosite.com , it is like a Chinese provincial site. and www.playbbg.com. they copied and pasted... Never to find their sites or articlese reading worth...

MMORPG.....

Good luck..

Keep up Good work

my road is long

Why not try the free trial for Vanguard? It is different and actually not bad.

vanguard.station.sony.com/isleofdawn/

Worth a try at least, I also got bored by the COH trial even though I lasted to the end of it since some of my friends play it, but it just didn't work out for me.

Taste differs and it is hard to find that right game.

As Loke666 said, Vanguard might be your cup of tea. It follows the same traditional style as WoW, but the look and feel of it is different, though then again so is AoC, which you didn't like.

Something really different, that you didn't list, would maybe be Ryzom, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Darkfall, or maybe Silkroad Online.

Honestly, I suspect you're maybe not finding other games keeping your attention simply because WoW's polish and the amount of content makes many other games blend in comparison. It can hard to get into another game after playing WoW. :-)
