Who will continue to play the retail because they hate re-rolling even when its released in NA or EU?

I know I'm considering playing the chinese retail just because I'm not sure I'll have time to play the game when it is released in NA, but I at least have more time now than I will then.

I will copy paste the reasons in my other post (and add a few others) on why nobody should even think about staying on CN servers:

1- There is a chance every single day that your IP will be banned from playing on CN servers.

2- You are going to have to "just" learn chinese.

3- Much better latency on Western servers

4- The vast majority of english speaking people are going to leave for the NA/EU release, and more will probably follow each month, so you'll be one of the select few english players remaining.

5- You are going to have to deal with the incredible amount of bots. Whatever happens, you can be sure that NCwest will handle this matter better than the chinese company.

6-Better, and full translation on NA/EU servers. Who knows when the Patch That Should Not Be Named will stop working completely? currently there are a lot of quests that require you to play them in Chinese.

7-Possibly more up-to-date version. Who knows.

8-Customer support!

9-Playing with friends, easy to get into groups, community.

10- Communication on forums with NC employees.

and I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of!

I definitely won't be staying on the Chinese servers once the EU/NA version is released.  I really don't see any reason to, even though I'll have to start from the beginning once more. It should feel like a whole new experience with everything in English and having my friends there.

Well, by the time Aion is available in NA, Blade and Soul may well be available in China.  If it is, I would probably just switch to that game.

Then there is always

Aika,

Canhel

SUN

...

Hmmm.  It might be quite a while before I play another non-chinese game.

I got to go back in and kill the boss too. When me and Trib went in we had to talk to the guy near the gold.

I played for 1 hour, took a break, went to the GameStop and pre-ordered mine and my boyfriends copy's.  It was exactly what we intended on doing, I'm glad I could have the chance to test the waters and I'm not dissapointed in the least that I'll have to start over.  All I'm doing is re-rollin all the different classes, getting a taste for the two races, and getting a feel for everything while I bide my time till NA release, I can't wait.

This is complete and utter BS. The official stance of NCSoft is that Englisg patch is against the rules, but playing on Chinese or Korean or any other servers from any location is OK. Do some research before posting misleading information.

Nope, it isn't bullshit.

The fact that SDN didn't block our IP's says that we're invited so far. However this could very well change once Aion NA/EU releases.

It is Ok NOW, but nobody knows, no not even the great D|CE, if they will keep this stance towards us. That's why, while reading caaarefully, you should have noticed the "there is a chance", because it isn't sure.

Thanks for the reply StayonTarget, I only need like a few hours. How would I go about getting in for a little bit?

Try region 9, I think it's still free to play for a few more days. You just got to reroll.
