The afghan alliance will most likely have aid from the death,cairn, cactus alliances as well as hired mercenaries. It will become a lagfest possibly with the most people ever in a single siege.

I've never played DF before, however, i do hang around these forums enough to hear how bad it is...tho i got to say this sounds like a lot of fun, GL defending :P

Aventurine better speed up the skillgain soon or I`ll think about rage quit again :P

I hope the Afghans destroy the goon city. Not that any of the goons have done me anything wrong, it`s just that I don`t like the huge alliances.

We are not the same zerg as before since we already cut down to a smaller size. Afghan decided to take advantage of us now that we are a smaller alliance.

Already a clan was caught spying for afghan, Azure Empire were kicked out of the coalition and killed. We are lucky that we found out early on.

I just hope everyone stays busy long enough for me to get some good ore from some of the clan mines.  Unprotected cities  ..... crafters ..... AFK resource gatherers ........ Heh heh .....

Isn't it epic because everyone can now lag their client?   Everyone is on equal terms. 

Do keep us updated on how it went.

 Even though I have been hating on Darkfall, I would like to hear the outcome of the siege.  I am awaiting a game like Darkfall that doesn't have the problems it does, I probably hate on Darkfall so much because of the disappointment from reviews.  For the people who enjoy it though, good gaming.

I just got home and logged in. But the siege will be over in 20min.

I "lived" in Mar Shral for the past 3 weeks until just recently and would have loved to defend it, but I'm like 1hour away at the moment. Times like this where I'd love to have a UO style recall system.

It looks like Mar Shral is being defended well, though.

Despite the bad press it has gotten at times, I've personally found Darkfall to be one of the best games I've ever played.  Yes there's a skill grind and it's not perfect, but I'd say it's FAR better than most on the forums would have you believe.   There's crazy polotics, backstabbing, spying, Sieges with badass war machines, Mass battle with actual tactics. 

The game is freaking awesome if you're into pvp.

I feel dirty for saying it... but after reading this post, I find myself considering playing this game.

cool, how much is it to play?

I think it's like $50 and the $15 a month.  Download only at the moment.  They finally opened their store 24/7 I think.  Just google "Darkfall Store".

For those wondering... Mar Shral was well defended and wasn't taken.

The Mercs are complaining that a wall they had knocked down was rebuilt mid-siege, but that was pretty smart on AC's part. :shrug:

So like always in Df it's a battle of the hackers, fun fun. i am waiting for 1 hacker to program in a nuke and just blow the hell out to the game   / i win..

I am about to write a long article/summary about it but I'm pretty much burnt out from this intense battle.

O and to add for all those thinking this sounds so  cool and man i want to play, it's only because you have the imagination to pictures this cool battle in your mind, this is something the DEV of DF don't have and unless you have a good 100+ hacking skill you will never win..
