If someone doesn't realize that calling this event "player-based" is actually a euphemism trying to hide incompetence, then that person should really have his head examined. When they fixed Main System dungeon into a group one, they called it "making it from a social dungeon to a group-based dungeon". When they had to fire people, they called it "restructuring", etc.
Just make Conan do the /fart emote and that's it, better than nothing. Make Conan get some fresh air, greet his subscribers with farts and belches, at least. Or let him show his wife Zenobia doing striptease or something. Or let the anniversary be a nice excuse to finally continue the destiny quest a bit... |

How, exactly, does Funcom cancel an event that was "supposed" to be player driven? LOL @ Funcom. |

Seems Funcom is continuing it's legacy of failure. But to be honest, after trying the circus called "Darkfall", AoC ain't looking half bad. |

So you're saying AoC sucks but DFO sucks more? Maybe the next event will be somwhere around Christmass next year and the new expansion will add drunken boxing? Then maybe the three fanbois that are left playing AoC can play drunken hide and seek throughout the instances until they find eachother then duke it out? But it'd have to be a player driven event as FC would probably balls it all up ... again!
