Very well said Synthetik. Everytime I hear these Korean Grinder responses the poster looses all credability because I know he has no idea what the game is about and is just saying the same old tired out dated pathetic response that they have heard somebody else give just because the game being talked about is not the game that they are waiting for. To the person who said the game is just another Lineage 2 you also have no idea what the game is about because it is nonthing like Lineage 2. I also played the Chinese Version and found that its just like WoW but set in a Asian theme. I am debating whether I will play because its not like Lineage 2 and I wish it was. |

I tried chinese open beta and I have to say if you really notice the game well enough is just a copy of wow but since i played wow too aion just looks like less content and misses a lot of things. Hell u cant even swim u go in water walking lmao its so funny people consider this game to be an next gen mmo.... trees, enviroment, buildings, quests, and everything else is wow copy. Only mmo that has real storyline, cutsceenes(movie style), in game depth, skill requiremnt and not just a button smasher was FFXI and june SE will anonouce the new next gen mmo they are working for 4-5 years now w00t ^^ |

I tried FFXI and I agree. Its the only MMO that I have ever played that had REAL quest that had you immersed into the game when you were doing them. I am watching there next MMO. |

i pretty much gave up warcraft as a semi regular mmo around january this year . i ve since been playing conan which i m enjoying . if aions any good i doubt i shall return to wow even if they offer another expansion pack in a year or so . the game is past its best . the community is pretty horrible now so what is there to return for . age of conans a nice stop gap and more likely to be something i d return to now and again . essentially if aions good it ll keep me interested in mmos as a genre . ii dont think i ll be givening any regulars ones up because i m pretty bored with whats out at the moment |

I currently have a lifetime sub to LOTRO, so no need to drop that. I went back to UO for a couple of weeks as I wanted some skill based action... dropped that already. My WoW sub is cancelled but the account is playable until August. I'm in a trial for AoC now, might get the trial for WAR. I've got plenty of NwN2 campaigns/mods that I haven't finished, I have Drakensang that I haven't finished, plus a few XboX 360 RPG's left unplayed, as I tend to PC game more than console... When Aion finally does hit, I have to admit I'm interested, but I'll have to decide if I'll sub to any other MMO come this fall. |

Well, Lineage II has become easier and easier to level and do things. I think the Korean market has changed due to the fact that a western MMO (World of Warcraft) has gained huge popularity. While Warcraft may not be the greatest MMO, it is good in the fact that it might westernize eastern MMOs. I don't really care much for Aion, right now, though. It is based around PvP, from what I understand, and while having amazing graphics the class system doesn't seem too enthralling. |

Well, after having just finished with the China open beta I gotta say Im giving up my long time game FFXI. I have been on FFXI since 2004, Easily one of the oldest players who still plays on my server. Although my college schedule prevents me from doing any end game, I have leveled many jobs to 75, as well as done much of the games story. I am willing to give all of that up for Aion.
Aion feels like an advance version of FFXI, it has style it has a stoyline, amazing lore as well as a history. It does not feel rushed in any way, it feels very polished, very well done. I am willing to give up FFXI for Aion.
Once aion comes out chances are il probably sell my FFXI account for a few hundred dollars online and use that money to pay for Aion until the next big stylish & storydriven game comes out. |

Not every Korean mmorpg is the same. To consider a game to be crap just because it comes out of Korea is simply ignorant. |

Actually, nothing. Everything I'm playing now Is free to play. Requiem, Demigod and the other games I'm just playtesting. I'll tell you what will suffer will probably be my social life if anything. LOL! That's the downside of being an MMO gamer. Ink

Nothing. People will look at it and think it's Lineage (even if unfairly so). You do understand there is a stigma attached to asian MMO's in this country (US)? That alone will keep it's numbers down. The casual fan (WoW player) never heard of it before. |

Spellborn.......I am truly sorry I subbed to that game for 3 months. Probably will keep playing LOTRO, but maybe not if Turbine keeps doing dumb things in their updates (check out the LOTRO forums and you will understand). |

I will definitely hit WoW hard if it as good as it is percieved to be. Warhammer I'm not sosure about because they have alerady lost a vast majority or people everyone that is there is there to stay I could be wrong we will have to see, But I do recall a guild in warhammer called "Waiting on Aion" |
