alright so after some searching out of boredom. I ran into a article that led me to another article that shows evidence that there is a very good chance that apple is developing a game console. The evidence shows very heavily that apple is looking to enter the console war. TBH i wonder how this will turn out if it is true. 4 consoles ..... thats alot of choice.

Well hopefully they have some good action packed games starting off other wise i see a dismal future for them if they do.

It would be interesting to see but I would hope if they do in fact come out with a console they don't follow the way Turboo Grafix did and come out with a system thay costs like 10 times more than what's on the market.

I doubt Apple would buy up EA or any of the large gaming studios.  EA itself is worth Billions and would be an extreme investment.  I also think the concept of Apple entering the console war would just be a joke.  Apple, games?  It just doesn't mash because of their highly controlled business model.  1st you would have game studios that avoid apple due to low market penetration.  2nd you would have apple denying games based on its business model.  Its lose lose.

I want to see them try it,  just so I could see them fail at it.  Playstation 3 has metal gear solid and other good IP's  Microsoft has Halo and apple will have???  a revolutionary casual game for their console?? yah nice try but no thanks.

 It would be intresting to see what they come up with and how it compares to other systems

 apple already tried making a console.

the apple/bandai pippin and it was a miserable failure.  i think jobs would rather key all his bmw's than follow in john scully's footsteps on ANY future apple projects.

I dont know, with how badly the PS3 is doing, the Apple system could probably take 3rd spot and bump sony to 4th lol.
