The folks at Vanguard have posted the patch notes for the major Pantheon Game Update which went live of Thursday.

Halls of the Pantheon

The Halls of Pantheon is finally here. The first part of the great architect Artera's story has finally been released and now is your chance to prove to the gods of Telon you are worthy of their blessings. Within the halls you will be asked to do many things as you increase your favor with the gods until finally correcting the imbalance of creation and unlocking the path that leads into the halls of shattered souls and the truth behind the gods of Telon and their years of silence. It is up to you adventurers, crafters, and diplomats to unlock the secrets within the halls and prove once again that the inhabitants of Telon are a force to be reckoned with.

• 200 new quests

• 2 new flying mounts
• Choose your alignment and reap the rewards
• Find out the truth behind the schemes of Kamelott

- dont see that often in pay to play mmos

Maybe this is a rumor but i heard they were going to implement 2 new classes to the game? Will probably start playing again.

Are there still only 4 haircuts and the same character animations? If yes, are they planning on improving character creation or not at all?

They are too busy posting daily dfo topics to keep up to date on other games.

Theres some new haircuts in the patch, actually.

They need to fix the awful animations and bland world.

Vanguard has a bland world?

Don't even get me started on Vanguard! Vanguard has become the only choice for any fan of mmo's that want depth and challenge. This game simply kicks ass now and it really pissed me off that such an awesome game is ignored by the masses,. SOE should have thier asses kicked and ducked taped shut with pine cones inside for not realizing the potential of this game. It could easily topple WOW with just a bit of developing/marketing/advertising.(or any other game for that matter) SOE you should be ashamed! This is the last MMO I will play now that I have seen what an MMO can be! If SOE fucks this up I will be done with MMO's forever!

In load of chunks still yes. The unreal engine tends to have a washed out looked for color, so some chunks textures make the part of the world look bland and empty.

weak pvp servers and no free loot everything makes this a poor choice for sandbox games, which it was attempting to be. I mean what's the point of crafting if you can't loot items of a corpse? Eventually everyone will have 10 types of each weapon and not risk losing it, not really wise for the economy of a sandbox game...sticking to darkfall, has better graphics too for teh quality of my machine.

Vanguard is designed pve game for pve fans and not a pvp game.
