I think anyone that isn't playing an MMO or is looking for one, should go and try out the Isle of Dawn 14-day trial for Vanguard, if you haven't attempted to do so already. You may or may not like the game, but it is much improved from the unplayable launch of two years ago! |

Don't laugh..... Playing FreeRealms (I know, I know, but it's cute and entertaining).....waiting on AION, The Agency, and maybe ToR. Also curious as to what MMO Blizz will roll out next. Contrary to most, I think Blizzard (from my long history with them) is capable of making some great games. Bioware...the same. So whatever games those two companies make, to ME....they warrant checking out. And, while others may "poo poo" the FreeRealms thing....I'm really enjoying it. Maybe it's more of a "chick thing," I don't know, but I think it's about the cutest damn game to ever hit the internet. I even became a member and bought some "Station Cash" to buy my pet some cute clothes. LOL Gawd, I can't believe I'm admitting to giving SoE money after all I went through with EQ2, and even admitting to waiting for The Agency, which is also a Sony game. Maybe I'm a masochist. --------------------- |
Originally posted by girlgeek Oh Jesus, for real? FreeRealms? that game is HORRRRRRRIBLE! Frankly speaking of course, I would rather choke on a spork than play that game. What I will be doing is playing Warrior Epic most likely and if not... well then I really dont know what I'll do while I wait for MO.

My name is Scribble and I'm in between games at the moment. I've tried revisiting some old MMO's I bought way back when they first came out, games like EQ2, City of Heroes, WoW, and Eve. But they just arent grabbing my attention. So, while I wait for Champions Online, Star Wars and Star Trek Online, I've been spending 8 hours a week in the gym instead, undoing all the unhealthy weight I've gained whilst being chained to my PC (both at home and work). On a similar front, the 7 hours of badminton takes up some of the rest of the week. I still play single player games and the xbox but there is definitely an MMO-shaped hole in my life. may try jumpgate when it comes out. Bring on the Games I say! |

If they fix the targeting and the random crashes to desktop, then this game will be awesome....plus there are balancing issues that need to be worked out, but i think the game has a lot of potential for its genre |

Can't really say that one is better than the other, they're just different. Although, I will say that Fallout 3 (unmodded) is much better than Oblivion (unmodded). Of course, Oblivion has been out longer, so there are tons of good mods out there. I just made a couple upgrades on my PC and started on Oblivion again with Obscuros mod and Martigens mod. The game is 100% better with just those two mods installed. I'd recomend those to anyone who has only played vanilla Oblivion. I'll have to check in on Fallout 3 eventually to see how the mod scene is looking there. Figured it would take at least a year or two for the really good mods to start showing up.

Ever since i quit Runescape back in 2007 i have been looking for a game that could keep my attention like it did (3 years!). I have gone though so very many games (1 - 3 weeks each, god MMO's fail) and not one seems up to snuff to what i like. I am going to wait it out for Mortal Online and if that game fails for me, well then I’m going to give up on MMO's till i can start my own and put all these pieces of shit in there place xD |
