After several months of MMO absitinence , i am bored out of my mind with single player games and FPS. I need MMO fix , for next 2-3 months. I am considering resubscribing to some of MMOs I own. And I narrowed it down to WAR or AOC. I played them both at launch , and well. It didnt go well.
But I am desperate now, and I believe they both improved much since they came out....
So please help me choose !
WAR or AOC ?

I was in the same boat you are. I played both at launch and cancelled both farily quickly because neither was very good.
I just resubbed to WAR this weekend to give it another try......and re-cancelled and uninstalled after only a couple of hours. The game is still horribly boring. Nothing in that game appeals to me at all.....
I'll give AoC one more shot also. |

Unless you play White Lion or Maraudeur in WAR, Id say AoC.
Light tanks were made Godly in WAR in 1.3 |

AoC all the way WAR hasnt improved the sligthest, all Mythic has done has been screwing majorly in endgame city sieges time after time, continuing with the nerf wheel where all classes take turns to go from gods to gimps with each patch, and add some more carrots to keep you doing RvE for phat l00t. 1 million different people can point 1 million different flaws in WoW 5 years and they have been mentally incapable of coming up with something better |

I would try Jumpgate Evolution, it is about a month away I believe. |

Neither. Save your money and your aggravation. I am in the same boat as you but I refuse to sub to crap. I am currently downloading the GW's free trial and going to see if I can get back into that again. Other than that, its single player and PS3 games for me until Jumpgate:Evolution and STOR releases. The idea of WAR and the new zone sounds interesting, however; if you go to the WAR forums someone posted about how great a snake oil salesman Paul really is. The game play is a far different story however and it certainly is not going to get better. Mythic ruined DAOC ,and WAR was finished before it released. I was a long time tester for both games and Mark Jacobs refused to listen to anything anyone had to say on his forum as usual. The original concept of the first Warhammer game was dark, gritty, and true to the universe with a more sand box feel. The game feel through sadly and Mythic eventually picked it up. Mythic should have stuck with their idea of Imperator and changed the agressive PVE style to a more balanced PVE/PVP; however, MJ fucked that idea up as well... It's a simple world for complicated people! Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. |

Oh well... AOC it is than.
As for JGE...i wouldnt hold my breath. The game will not be released next month, nor month after that. I belive it still needs at least 4 months in the owen. Seeing how they didnt even start closed beta yet.
