Dear WoW Fans!

First off! Your game might as well be an Action MMO cause its more like a shoot'em up, than a RPG. Second PVP isn't what mmoRPG was suppost to be about when first created. I hate WoW and the name it gave MMORPG. I wish they put it under MMOACTION GAME. OR anything besides what they put WoW classifacation under. It ruined the MMORPG for people who played it for the excitement of mmorpg class games.

Second: Crafting, PvE, and a COMMENTMENT to YOUR character and its development IS RPG!!! I played wow for 2 years not bad for an ACTION MMO. But how many friends did I make on the game. Well I can not give an answer cause so people had so many characters. You could not keep contact or maintain binding bonds with other players. WoW is like a brothle GAME it doesn't matter who you sleep with. Cause no one cares. Well, I haven't played WoW sense its first expansion.

3rd: I play other MMO's for 6 years. I have much better experiance with other MMO's. And WoW wasn't a game that grew on good game play. It grew on Media Hype, and grabbing an audiance that appealed to Shoot Em up Games. Studies show this time and time again. Hence, the reason why that Shoot em Up MMO is comming out what ever its called. Grew from the studies of WoW. Honestly, People who play this style of game clearly don't care about Character Development. Nore do they care about building Strong Character Ties with other peoples Avitars.

I strongly urge people to play many vast amount of MMO's to find one that suits you. Thankyou For your time.

Funny how you told those WOW members to STFU cause some people don't know when to take a hint.  They just keep talking and rambling on like anyone cares what "they" have to say so I completely agree with you telling them to STFU.  I bet there are a ton of people saying to themselves right now, "Why do I have to STFU?".  Well, because Zamenity told you too thats why!  And if he (or she) for that matter, tells you to STFU, then you have to do it, it's State Law!  Don't believe me, look it up!  You probably won't cause us WOW players, uhhmmm, I mean YOU WOW players are too busy playing WOW to pay attention to what the all mighty and powerful Zoltan, er, Zamenity has to say.  Yep, so just STFU, mmm k?       

you mean first person shooter not shoot 'em up. Shoot 'em up is like the R-Type or Gradius series.

two years isn't long at all. With the amount of time I spend with all my MMO's that is bearly enough time to hit its max level. And yes I had few friends who only play WoW. And I long sense parted our friendship cause they dont know good entertainment.

Well, I guess most of us here got tired of WOW at some time or another. But that still leaves the option to credit it for the things it did (and still does) right even if it isn't our favourite game anymore.

I bet you had a great time playing it virtually non stop for the first 6 months or so as well. Amirite?

I know I did love it way too much for two years in a row... and I returned after a year of quitting as well, playing for another year untill I grew tired of it again. But still, at the end of the day, it IS a highly adictive, pollished mmorpg with many different aspects to it imo.

So much hate and bitterness.  Theres' just something about a game when you love it SO MUCH, you have to insult everyone who's ever played it=)    Whats always funny is how after the insults, they go on and tell everyone about how MMOs were so much better back in the day and how everyone was so mature.  The irony runs deep with them=)

I don't really see a reason for all the hate. You either like the game or not. No need to bash the people who are having fun with it. People just have different tastes. I think I tried wow once or twice and it never caught on. I'm one of those who just don't like it.

WoW is WoW.  Classify it however you want.  Technically speaking, 99% of all video games are RPG's, right?  You play the role of mage, or a sniper, or an assasin, or a cute little fluffy bunny rabbit, whatever.

For what I'm looking for in a game, WoW just doesn't cut it.  It's a game for the masses.  I want something a ltitle more specialized, something that not everyone will get into, and that's fine.  But there's no need to get all sideways over it like this...

RPG suppost to convay a STORY LINE!!! . WoW Has nothing to do with RPG. Seriously, the game is a media FRENZY BS game.People who play it like Action games not RPG games.

The fighting, and battling should last longer than 7 seconds. Oh but in wow if a fight between players last any longer than 7 seconds. you would have to do some intellegent things like thinking of your tacticful moves. And use a lot of deferent skillz. Average WoW fights are won in 5 attacks. And RARELY past 4 attacks. Absolutly no time for a good match.

Look what I am saying is QUIT CALLING IT RPG when it clearly not a RPG! I talk to so many people who agree with me that I have had it. I am going around fighting this monstrosity.

How is WoW and action MMO? Planetside is an action MMO, but WoW is nothing like that.

I'm not happy with what WoW has done to stiffle creativity in MMO's, since they all feel like they have to make a WoW clone to be successful. I do have to give them credit for producing a quality game that many people do enjoy. Hate it all you want, but a majority of people think otherwise.

You did say "shoot'em up" which in my mind does point towards FPS. I guess 3rd person shooter is your only escape goat there. I am also curious, what game did you play previous that conveyed a great storyline? I mean I played EQ for 5 years prior to playing WoW and while I don't really follow any of the WoW storyline (its there, you just have to read it), but I don't recall there really being any sort of tangible story line to EQ either.

While you may find some asylum in these forums with other WoW-hating sympathizers, your seemingly random use of capital letters suggests you are just  full of pointless rage... in which case you will also find asylum on these forums.

While I don't agree with everything that was said, I still feel strongly that WoW's precense in the MMO industry is not healthy for the industry. But hey thats just me... and I still play WoW anyways.

Haha, Who is this guy? You know i kindof agree with what you are saying but you are going about it the wrong way. You don't get any point accross by calling people retards because then it makes you look like a big ol bag of douche. I hate wow just as much as the next guy but just because its not everything you think it SHOULD be doesn't mean you have to cry like a little girl with a skinned knee telling people you didnt trip they pushed you down. And you havnt played since the first expansion? Im no genius but im pretty sure that the game has prolly changed a lot since you made these prehistoric accusations.

My gaming background is in FFXI, LOTR, ect. You know Real RPG mmo's. Shoot em ups is just another name for FPS buddy. Like Water and H2O. Same thing just different names for the same tangible object. >.> God.... Even a kid knows there are many words for the same meaning.

You dont follow a story line in the games you posted cause they dont focus on it. They are taking advantage of lazy MMO'ers in general cause they know they got into the field early enough to gyip there audiance and WoW did a heck of a job doing it.

On top of that you're seeing WoW look alikes come out not because its a great game but to build off a Fake HYPE Blizzard has created for its WoW brand. And people go well there successful. Lets follow there lead. WHEN ITS NOT RPG let me say it again RPG <---- RPG. Not this crap.

And yes I know you dont want it to be called Action cause you dont want it to ruin your gaming Classifacation. I know how you feel man. I am saying take WoW give it it's own classification field. Take your weak 7 post and go back to FFXI you child.  It's very apparent you were not a quality enough player to conquer end-game content with a quality guild.  Your other post clearly state that you prefer free games with a lot of solo play . . . sucessful raiding in games like wow isn't for the weak like yourself.

Did you really call it a action rpg . . .really. . . action rpg would be a game like Hellgate London not WoW.

Second, the strength of Blizzard lies in the stories they've written. Ever played Warcraft 1 to 3? If you have, you should be able to comprehend what I'm talking about, if not, do so and come back to me then. World of Warcraft is an MMO product of anRTS game, ofcourse it's not only an MMORPG, but I really don't think that you should be angry with Blizzard just because they've said WoW is an MMORPG and not (as you so profoundly wrote it) a Shoot-em-up MMO. ;>

Interesting, very interesting, are we talking about the same games here? Or do you claim that there's no roleplaying in World of Warcraft? I'd agree if you were talking about Tetris, but hey, we aren't.
