It's ok to express ones opinion, the op is simply trying to get more people to try the game there is nothing wrong with that. If u don't like to game that's cool but he does and is simply trying to make it better,heck i don't even play it but i have and think its an ok game that is in bad need of more players. I don't blame the op for trying to recruit more players to the game he is passionate about. Would be different if the game was horrible but it is not.

You have a better setup then what I have, I run the game in most areas at 60fps. I assume that your FPS problems means that you are way below that one. Try to disable crossfire and see it that helps.

Dont be fooled into vanguard, this type of game needs a good population in order to be good, and almost all servers are low pop servers and that is an understatement, they should label all of them grave yard servers.The dungeons and monsters are very bland. combat is clunky. its still buggy to all hell. end game is horrible, the raid conent just isnt there, i think they have one end game raid dungeon AWL.

The world is huge but mostly empty.  it took them almost two years to put out one raid instance, the game is dead, the game is horrible thats all there is to it, and before some one calls me a WoW player, I did go to WoW and i played WoW, I no longer play mmorpgs but WoW is leagues better than vanguard.

hell even EQ1 is leagues better than vanguard, i bet EQ1 has a much better population and over all better game than vanguard is.

Graphics are not everything.

Im MMO vet who tried more then 50 online games, so its hard to impress me. AoC didnt, WAR didnt. I missed all the drama when VG released and tried it for the first time just few monthes ago. Believe it or not - this game rocks. I wasnt so excited and addicted since the early days of WoW. So many places to explore, so many stories to discover and classes are very unique. Wish it had more support from SOE. This game is alot better  then EQ2.

I completyl agree without ALOT more players  this game does'nt have alot to offer,with more players would be a different story completly.

No... Plus also its owned by $OE another reason not to play before you know it they will have a item , card game scheme in the works  for that game as well, just give it time.

I have looked at all these people who have changed their minds, and now say we should play it. Yet im fairly sure I dont have the PC to run this game.

Your system should play the game fine. You might not be able to max out the graphics, but even in High Performance the game looks good. But I'm sure with a little tweaking, you will get the look and playability you want.

Down load the trial and see how well you can get it to play.

only way i m trying it is they offer those of us that brought the game when it started a welcome back month to make up for it not being playable then . this game still has the worst rep i ve ever encountered in a pay to play mmo . that may be unfair as it stands now but if you pull a fast one on your customers and release a brocken  or unfinnished game way too early then you have a huge amount of ground to make up .

age of conans really pulled it around . but i think vanguard has a bigger hill to climb .

Plenty good, I have a 6800 and the game runs fine.  I also only have 2 gigs o ram and only an AMD 3500+.  I have no problems running the game and my FPS is usually around 40.  It's a lot of fun so far,, the server I am on is pretty lively too.  It's called Seradon.

Well I have to post on this.. I no longer play Vanguard, but I did for over a year and a half. I watched the good and the bad that came along with the game. I watched as the population dwindled. I watched as all the people complained about so many things with the game.

I currently am off playing a different game that I am enjoying alongside friends. However with that being said. I Have to say Vanguard is still an amazing game. The community that is there is one of the most mature nicest you will probably meet anywhere. The population back as of a few months ago was on the rise as well..The only reason I left was due to friends wanting to try new things. Which we did....

If there was one thing I will say Vanguard really is missing it is character customization. No feat system or talent system..> Supposedly that is about to change with the introduction of an AA (alternate advancement) system if it hasnt already been put in place.

Would I go back to Vanguard? Sure possibly but with other games on the horizon i am actually anticipating I will probably not. Would I Recommend Vanguard to another player? ABSOLUTELY.

HOWEVER I would only recommend Vanguard to people who are group oriented. That dont like everything handed to them on a silver spoon like so many other games do these days. If your a solo artist, sure you can solo but your not going to really experiance what the game truly offers playing solo.
