No beast so fierce but knows some touch of pity. I know none and therefore, am no beast. |
Can be found here: herald.warhammeronline.com/patchnotes/index.php It is friggin huge and it is just the preleminary patch notes, more is for sure to come. So even though this game has some serious issues with end game it is certainly alive and kicking. Can't remember any other games with such huge patch notes, just shows how much time and effort they are putting in the game. |

Well they do have a very large development team and since they aren't working on a new game yet (at least as far as we know) and they all have to do something, they're all working on WAR. |

Either way, it is a good thing that they have alot of people working on the game. |

Actually I didn't know about Mythic's involvement with that. Then I guess I can agree on Mythic doing a great job pumping out such a big patch. |

While the patch, as most patches, are always welcome (at least by me). And while the new land looks cool and will bring back people into the game. And while the new land is made a la DAoC´s DF , which gives an incentive to ORvR. While in all its positive... I still don't see them working hard in the siege part. I am quiet dissapointed by now about this particular point. I do hope in the next big patch they do a revamp to keeps and BFOs and make them at least as good sieging as DAoC. If not, I will just go back to DAoC. I hope they put mobile siege weapondry (not statinary as they did now... I want to put the weapondry anywhere!). I hope for being able to open holes in walls, siegecrafting, better AI in the guards, etc. I had been asking this for several months in my posts and in the feedback. I did ask for other stuff to be improved and Mythic seems to had been working on it. I like the domination system, for example. It had made defense to be a must... there are reasons now for defending keeps. Now, I just need the siege to be more fun... right now its too secuential (always the same steps to take a keep... for those who played DAoC knows that it has more "tools" or things too do... it can get secuential too but it is more "evolved" than WAR's siege, imho). But besides this complain... the rest of the patch seems very nice and the new lands looks great.

Agreed with sieging in general. Would go a long way to help fixing this game if they just do what they did in DAoC on parts. It was always good to break multiple holes in the walls so they couldn't just concentrate and AoE on one spot. Just a more fun experience overall... and 100% agree with movie siege weapons/putting them where you want. Tons of nice stuff in that patch though. |

Is it strange to be mostly exited about the fact that they are looking in to the issue of armors not taking colors the correct way... Maybe now my Shadow Warrior will not have his pants showing patches of green no matter the color i apply. This have been a good conversation |
