My wifes and my total income is less than your £3000 a month and we have a car, have a house and a mortgage have a top satalite subscription - full sky hd package have a top internet subsciption - 50Mb uncapped broadband have a love film subscription. subscribe to multiple games at once and buy games whenever I want. I have a high end watercooled pc, is a nice alluminium case (silly waste of money really but its awesome) Have a 42" plasma, expensive floor standing 5.1 speaks and amp, blu-ray player, all the consoles, our house is nicely decorated with hardwood floors and a nice new kitchen (ikea admitadly but its good quality) we eat top quality food, top fillet steaks, have take outs, go to resturants. Drink sensible ammount of nice quality wine, beer etc We go to concerts, the cinema, the theatre anything we chose too. We've been to new york, las vegas, on safari in southafrica, paris, amsterdamn. We have season tickets at the football and ice hockey, go watch the cricket, rugby, speedway occasionally. and we still save £500 a month to spend on vacations, high end electronics or for a rainy day. We are happy and lucky that we have enough money to enjoy the nicer things in life when so many people struggle to scrape by. £3000 a month is a huge ammount to spend and is easily enough for a very comftable and happy life for 2 people indeed. But if you think your friends are twats then go ahead and spend it all on drink. It's quite shocking though to try and say that 2 of you spending 3 grand a month can't afford 10 pounds, it just makes you sound foolish and it sure as hell isn't because you live in the uk. |

Alot of people like to look at the 15 bucks as what else it would buy them.........I guess it just depends on how people feel about money in general......Some people will spend over a couple hundred dollars for a single night out....To them 15 dollars for a months entertainment is nothing.....Others are more frugal and that 15 bucks could go for groceries or clothes for their kids....... When I started playing EQ in 2000 I had no problem paying the 15 bucks (and the expansions money)......After awhile though it starts to feel like a waste ot money.......While my time in EQ was enjoyable, I probably spent over a thousand dollars by the time I quit playing (5 years total).......In my case it wasnt that it was 15 dollars a month but the total that was the problem.....Since I left EQ in 2005 I have only subbed to a couple games and none of them for more than 6 months......... |

But the ammount of money he is spending and the fact it's going in his mouth and out his penis an hour later means he fits much more into your former group of people than your latter group. |
