Like the title says, will there be any 'star wars' in this? Thats the one thing in SWG that I did like..customizing ships etc. I play EvE right now for my space fix, but I'd love it if TOR gave me a reason to leave.
Thanks. |

You know how many cranky "good ol' days" vets will burn you alive for saying that? They have wet dreams about another (pre-NGE) SWG game. Even though Bioware has not suggested that TOR will be like SWG. To OP, yeah, I hope so too. The ships during Luke's time were always goofy, but the ships from the newer Star Wars movies are sleeker, faster, and more "spacey", so I hope to see (and be able to fly!) some of those in-game.

I am a Day 1 SWG vet,and believe me,I do not want to see another game like it. I played SWG,in its pre-cu,cu and NGE states,Been there done that. I am looking for a new game experience and it looks like Kotor Online might be on to somthing. |

I get what you're saying, though, and I hope you understand the point I was trying to get across. No doubt you've noticed it as well. |

I didn't ask for all of SWG, just the 'S T A R W A R S' part of it. Didn't realize it was a touchy subject to fly ship high above Tatooine. I did not mean to hurt tender feelings. |

Everything that is decent, eh? Going to have to call BS on that one. There is a grand total of about a minute's worth of outer space combat in Knights of the Old Republic, and that is the highest quality Star Wars product ever made. Including the movies. Cutscenes don't count as gameplay. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. |

What chemical imbalance would cause anyone to have a problem with wanting space battles in a Star Wars game? I'm floored by the mass zombie-ism on this subject. Especially the anti-SWG crowd, although it is entertaining watching these scarred people react like mental patients to a needle with 1000mg of knockmeout in it. They should ship this game with complimentary straightjackets to help those during this trying time. You'll get through this...I hope. |

Never said there shouldn't be space battles. Just pointing out that it isn't accurate to say every decent Star Wars product has had them. Peace is a lie, there is only passion. |

They should have space and space ships in at launch but I bet we will see it as an expansion. |

No space combat at launch but is being worked on and should be a patch/expansion. Jedi, sith, smuggler, BH, sith soldier(?), republic Troopers as the playable classes. They are trying to work on console versions. PvP is a big aspect of the game and balance will be 1vs1. Jedi/Sith Classes are finalized. I love sailing the rumor seas with my tinfoil hat! |

I sincerely doubt it and I hope they keep as close to the original KOTOR as they can. There was very little space battle in KOTOR.
If thats what you want, I suggest you try EVE. You can't get much more space battly than that. |
