Lol alright Jive... some laughs but was the point of episode 1 of your podcast to be as much off topic as possible?  The podcast kind of makes me think of the Off Topic section at swtor.com hehehe

Yea basically the whole first episode is just a 12 minute straight satire, we looked at all the other podcasts and noticed how they always get off topic about everything, and decided something had to be done.

We are going to stick with the satire in the following episodes but make them more informative too.

Were hoping to be the "John Stewart" of the ToR podcast realm.

Quite a niche eh? haha

Yeah I don't think I can stand to listen to these TOR podcasts, at least till the game launches and they know what the hell they are talking about.

In that other podcast show (TOROcast I think)the speculation is annoying since it's coming from folks who have never tried SWG to see how Star Wars works in an MMO game. Even if they think it sucks, it would help their credibility a bit since over 80% of the people who will play this game now waiting in the wings have at one time played SWG.

I mean, I hate SWG now, but if anything it would help them out in the Lingo department a bit, and they may learn a bit about the various mobs that were not just in the movies that will appear in TOR.

They make to many comparisons to WoW for me. Like when they called swoops and speeders "ground mounts" WTF? ground mounts? r u serious? Also all the comparisons to WoW’s core combat system freaks the hell out of me. You don’t have to compare it to SWG past or present systems, or any other game, but just stop talking about WoW. No one at BioWare is gonna copy WoW in that area. There are no Mages, there are no bows or arrows.

Not to bash on these guys because I like their spirit, and they could have the best damn game related podcast for this game one day, but they need at least one guy on their crew who has played every single incarnation of SWG.
I liked the ones from SWG back in the day Yivits and Mr bubbles and The Galaxy report, but back when I liked the game, now they are kinda lame. It would shame me to see any podcasts for TOR to be lame sauce.

Takes this for what its worth, but, the internet world could live without this sort of satire.  It was not even remotely humerous or idiotic, it was just plain ol' gay.
