Well, from what I hear, the catch is that you will spend copius amounts of giddy energy in the character creation screen. Once drained, you will find yourself in a world that almost immediately strikes awe into even the cynics. You may have your loyalties to other games, and their mechanics, tested. But don't worry... your significant other won't leave you for at least the next few weeks as it takes them a while to realize that you aren't in fact dead. That indeed, to you, it is the other way around. Such is the way of addictions, and this may be one of those rare games made now, that should have such a disclosure. Doesn't ... Really... Help... I played the beta for Aion already, Im just curious if its still free to play at the moment or did they add a pay system in yet.

There is also a new region opening up on the 15th which will be completely free to play until the end of the month. 2 weeks free start, not bad. Along with that, when it is pay, all new accounts get first 5 hours free. You can make as many accounts as you want. That 5 hours usually gets you through the starting zone. |
