ok...thats good but uhhmm hardrive a little low, and what kind of ram? pluse if you are getting a p4 2.0ghz i would suggest getting the AMD 2.02 2200 or something like that cause i am sure it is cheaper and runs the unreal engine a bit better.

dump windows xp home, go with pro.  may want to consider upping the vid card to the pro version.  other than that good system

oh, and dont go with the 2200+, if you go athlon only get 2500+, 2800+, or the 3200+.  those run on the barton core which virtually doubles its power...

The harddrive is fine,  are you really going to use 80gigs?  I can't even fill up 20 yet.  :)  Is the RAM DDR333? (PC2700) Or is it DDR400 (PC3200)?

And what is the motherboard..???

I agree that the HD is fine, I only have a 20 gig myself, but this totally depends on what you use it for.

RAID 0 is cheap.  You can get two 60gig HDD for $80 each.  Maxtor Diamon 9 with 8megs of cache... ATA133 (SATA I believe too).  Get that and usually the newer motherboards have built in controler cards and you have yourself a RAID setup.

Double the RAM if you can and you'll be in fine shape for a while. 1GB is decent, but 2GB will really help you out.

I don't think you can even get a computer that slow anymore.  My newest system has 4GB and almost 2TB hard drive space, you'd have to look pretty far and wide to find an 80GB drive these days.

Played: UO, EQ, WoW, DDO, SWG, AO, CoH, EvE, TR
