well ppl i leave eve was nice over 3 years in eve but now after darkfall release i find myself in eve more and more often changing skills (yay i got figther to 5 now) and nothing more

@JGMIII ofc eve is more polished that DFo but in eve i add skills in que and i log off to play dfo
if some day DFo get some "stuff" like eve will be very nice

you can see when i quit dfo and go to other game or go back on eve just look at xfire hehehehe

I might turn back on my subscription to darkfall soon actually. Its not polished like EVE but maybe in time it will grow in a good way.

DF is new, its still has that new car smell. We have no idea if DF will have the longevity that Eve has.

Do I hope DF becomes as robust as Eve one day? sure why not im a sandbox fan.

I did the exact same thing when I discovered ryzom in august (yes I know i found it late). I played that game like non-stop for three months. Now I play Ryzom like two to five hours a week and Eve takes the rest.

CCP has created such a polished game its amazing and I know you know this since you've probably spent 10k hours in the game overall.

Edit: You also have to remember how much potential Eve has, actually I'll go as far as to say Eve has more potential than any game on the market today. In the next five years Eve will probably get another graphics overhaul, planetary flight and colonization. Jesus the skies the limit bro. I cant see myself playing another game and leaving Eve ever.

small gang warfare is quite nerfed ... epic battles are epic but also a time sink

You should come back in a few weeks and do a comparision. A sandbox on terra firma has always sounded like a blast. I'm just glad things are getting to the point where that is an option.

It's both cool and sad that you quoted jgmIII.  I actually knew him in real life.  He was an old friend of mine and my brothers. He worked at this little cafe down the street from my business and sadly he's no longer with us.

About a month ago he was in a car accident and lost his life. Good guy and bigtime sandbox fanatic.
