Darkfail players are definatly people i wouldn't want to see in my games hence i hope it will stay alive. It's a nice place for the lowest level of wannabee bullies to stick together harrassing eachother.

This thread does have a point, it is obvious there is a lot wrong with the way Darkfall is run, this has been underlined by the recent Eurogamer hoo haw.  The question naturally arises, are those who continue to be fans of Darkfall simply too dim to recognize the problems with the way the game is run?  There are some who say 'the game is fun to play and I just don't care about anything else', but the majority are running about all across the Internet trying to attack game reviewers, making up conspiracy theories, and doing anything possible to try to justify the outrageous and unprofessional behavior of the Darkfall team.

It is an old question in a new context.... it is like the three card monte game on the street... are the people who fall for it literally "dumb", or are they just "suckers".  Is there a difference?

My impression is that the Darkfall fans are dimmer than your average gamer, they are like the dumbest clods on the block, most of them seem to have an overestimation of their own intelligence and a tentative grasp of reason and logic.  But that's just my impression, that is why I am asking the question, perhaps they are just saps who are smart but easily led astray? 

Or is the game really ALL THAT and the Darkfall team in fact haven't lied so much for years and years and continue to operate their business in a remarkably unprofessional manner?  Most would consider all the stuff with regard to the Eurogamer review to be extremely unprofessional on the part of the Darkfall team.

If you really like a game, it will not matter what is posted, reviewed, rumoured, watched or otherwise. If the folks are playing Darkfall and loving it, they will be there until the servers close for good. I am not interested in this game but I do understand it when a game, no matter what the perceived quality, pushes all of the right buttons. They won't stop playing this because they are having the time of their lives.

If the game closes in 6 weeks or 6 years, they will all come away with big grins that no one will be able to wipe from their faces. That's just the way it goes. If they love this game, they will put up with everything else good and bad just to play it. They will bitch, moan kick and scream about nerfs, bug, hacks and all manner of things but they will still play and still pay.

Can anyone here honestly state that when you were playing a less popular title that you were really into, did reading bad review or a long period of negative posts suddenly make you unsub? No. You unsubbed when the bad began to interfere with the good and you decided that for yourself. Threads like this will never change anyone's mind and if it is a debate is is a circular one. It's not going anywhere.

I think any credibility you had probably dissappeared after your first post Einstein ... your attempt to try and mask your obvious Trolling  is rather amusing tho ...
