I'm interested in finding an MMO that you can play solo. I know a lot of people think it's stupid to want to solo in an MMO, however the reason I prefer that is because the content is dynamic rather than static. Stand alone PC games don't change, update and have content added regularly like MMOs. That being said, the type of game I am looking for:
Games that I have played or tried extensively are:

Sadly, the only thing that comes to mind in these days that fit those roles and that you have not already tried is the lovely OFFLINE game that's been out for quite some time: Oblivion |

I wonder which MMO you can not solo in. |

Old EverQuest it's rather difficult...not only because of the hardieness of the NPCs but because of the THOUSANDS you have to kill per level. It becomes more impossible to solo the further you progress. You wouldn't want to go back to EQ anyways...let the great memories of that once epic MMORPG stay great. |

Out of that list I wonder why they didn't like EQ2. Honestly between WoW and EQ2 there is very little you can't solo. The actual group or raid content does give more interesting items maybe that was the problem.
Perhaps the OP should explain why the games they tried (and listed) didn't make it.. because from my point of view it would be very hard to recommend anything without more info.
As in.. from what I can see you've tried the games I would probably tell you to try .. so I'm not sure what the OP is looking for. Being able to choose the skills you want to use, offers much less variety than pre-made class based systems. -Future Game Developer |
