Europeans and Americans open their Auction House to buy some gear and all they see is either insanse Gold prices or crazy Diamond prices for items that arent even good.

Theres are almost no good items left in the Auction House that can be bought with Gold.

The Free to Play concept of Runes of Magic failed comepletly because after a few days or let it be weeks you have to start to buy better items. The only way is to purchase Diamonds for real money which is nice for Frogster.

Many players complain that even after 2-3 weeks the investment into RoM is much higher than playing 6 month WoW or similar.

Frogster seems to like the sudden cash flow and they dont seem to change anything regarding Diamonds and the AH.

The result is that many players are leaving because they feel cheated or find out that RoM is very cost intesive sooner or later.

The ones that play their Avatars to dual class 50/50 without spending real money are becomming less and less.

In short, Frogster is doing everything to further increase their income while making it frustrating for the players with less money to spend.

 

The German Frogster Managers are in my opinion are infected by the "Greed Virus" which leads to a complete crash of RoM if they dont stop it soon. Sure they earn good money at this time, but i say its not working over the long term.

why do u people bitch about a F2P game thats has cash shop its they ONLY way frogster can make income off this game the put money into you people should learn by now that all these F2P games are gunna cost money somtime so stop bitchin and quit or deal with it its not frogsters fault its yoursd for being a GREEDY bastard and not wanna farm gold or buy diamonds

You yourself decide what to invest into the game. Playing the game now for a few hours it seems to me investing about 10 to 15 euros a month should provide enough diamands to get the items you like. If however you desire to invest more then there is room to do so and plenty of items that might assist you in the game. 

Considering the game has only been out for about a 1 1/2 months, should there really be that many max level characters and should we even be concerned that players aren't able to reach 50/50 yet without using Diamonds?  Really?

While I agree that Diamonds in the AH seems to be more negative than positive, I also think players like yourself are making a much bigger deal of this than there really is.  Frankly, it seems to be players that are cheap and feel entitled to free stuff, power gamers who feel they can't rush to the end fast enough or PVPers who feel they can't be competitive, once again fast enough, unless they use diamonds to purchase what they want.

If somebody wants to invest their money instead of their time then more power to them, but don't complain about it.  It's a players choice to play the game for free or spend money.

Shocking... no really.

By the way, your poll is invalid because I want to vote "No", but not "remove gold from the game".  So yeah, there's no option on there that fits my vote.

People should learn to budget there money and not take short cuts, just because the option is there, doesn't mean you have to take it or buy it in this case.

I think its a decent system. People can actually craft good gear and sell it for diamonds, or sell their good drops for diamonds or trade their gold for diamonds, and never have to actually pay any real money for diamonds.

What's the problem?
