MMORPG.com World of Warcraft Correspondent James Wood writes this guide to getting your character's dailies in a swift hour and a half.

With the introduction of the Argent Tournament in Patch 3.1, the time needed to finish Northrend-based dailies has been reduced and the potential gold output from completing 25 has risen significantly. And they can all be completed in one hour to one hour and thirty minutes.

The guide has a few requirements: (a) Have your Icecrown dailies unlocked; (b) Be Honored with the Sons of Hodir; (c) Be at least an Aspirant in the Argent Tournament; (d) Use a very fast flying mount and; (e) Have 14 empty bag slots. Anyone who falls under the third requirement will have 4-5 dailies left to do, so another list will be added to the end of the guide to fill that daily quota.

Each of the quests mentioned in the guide's steps rewards a minimum of 13 gold and 23 silver, can be done very quickly, does not require professions and minimizes your exposure to gankers.

Read Dailies in an Hour Thirty

Cheers,

I wish they would understand that making things easy doesn't make it fun.

I can't even bring myself to quest normally just for the sake of leveling.

I don't know how the hell you guys run the same freaking 25 daily quests everyday.

You've all been brainwashed to think something like this is fun to do.

Let me start by saying I do play Wow ... even lead a 25 man raid guild.  I can't say how much I HATE, HATE, HATE doing dailies. I do them here and there when Im hard up for gold. I don't even know anyone in my guild that actually likes dailies. Not to mention I don't think most of my guild has even bothered to go out to the Argent tourny yet, lol. Don't get me wrong ... the Argent tourny itself is pretty cool compared to most of the dailies. But still .. its repetitive, not to mention in WOTLK they send you all over the GD world to complete them. If it weren't for my guild , I think Id just quit. PvP is bleh, Raiding is ok and content is regurgitated (sp?)

Unfortunately It is one of the best out there and Ive failed to find anything monumentally different that was actually fun to play. LoTRO and EQ2 are both great games but don't offer anything very differnt. SWG had things that set itself apart from the rest now its just a run of the mill game as well. And it seems any "sandbox" game coming out wants to toss an fps type combat in it  .... ehh wtf? Starting to feel like a hamster on a treadmill.

When you do it the way the OP does, yeah, you get burned out really fast and I wouldn't call it fun either.    I think it's like 'leveling to 80 in 2 days... the actual challenge of doing it is the fun part.  How fast can you do your 25 dailies in? what is the max amount of gold you can get by doing just your 25 dailies.. that type of thing.   I really don't think there are many people out there that are going to do those 25 dailies every day like that though.

I do, however, love the concept of dailies.  I always do my cooking, fishing and heroic dailies, and usually the BG daily and the WG dailies.  I also have 1-2 reps that I'm working on as well as the new coliseum dailies.

The question I have for you... about being brainwashed.... what do you  do at endgame in other games?  Every other game is even more 'brainwashed' than WOW where dailies are only 1 of about 10 options you have at endgame to progress your character.  I know in AOC, I wish I had something to do besides raid 1 dungeon and do some pvp seiging.   In Warhammer, what is there to do?

I can remember before quitting that I used to log on and complete the cooking dailies, did that for about a week to save enough of the tokens for spices or a new recipe, then it just got too much for me.

I couldn't bear the thought of doing it day in day out just to get more spices.

The idea behind it all is a good one, it's another part of the advancement in the game, but like any MMO it only has a certain shelf life before it expires and becomes something you want to avoid like the plague, but is seen as a neccessity by some and has to be completed.

A guide into maximising your time while completing dailies just shows you the flaw of the whole system, if it was an enjoyable game mechanic why would you want to complete them as fast as possible?

I was never a fan of dailiies because, for me, it was boring

but I do think this guide will be helpful for anyone who wants to make "fast cash"

What a tedious way to spend an hour and a half. Why not do something fun instead?

Oh believe me, Im well aware of the MMO flaw that is endgame. You maybe right all those other games on the market do the same weak shit that WoW does.

Raiding every week, instance pvp all day, daily quests, Orvr grind, Proff grind, alt grind over and over every single one of them has this endgame feature that makes me sick.

Even a game like WAR that I actually sub to, i've tried my hardest not to level any of my four characters to end level.

You say WoW has more options? Gratz!!! it has more repetative options at endgame.... in a genre thats not supposed to have an end!!

I'm glad the game I play doesn't include an Endgame and sadly its the only one with the balls to do so.

GL with that max level grind you guys love so much ill be that way -----------> playing the only true MMO with an ever evolving world that really never ends, Eve Online.

Nice way to flame.

Eve has no end game, Eve has everything for you.  Good for you.  No need to name call or flame other games if you truly love Eve.  No one from WoW care to flame Eve by the way.  Some play both.

Someone here says there are more options for WoW players when they hit max level, than some other game.  That is their opinion.  Whether its repettive or not, that is an opinion.  Breathing and eating is repetitive, do you want to stop eating and suffocate?

Eve does not have visible character levels, Eve is played out as a giantic player teams vs player teams game.  WoW is a different animal, comparing them and praising one by dissing the other, makes no sense.  You can say, oranges taste better because hello kitty sucks as a toy, indeed for you.

Max level grind game?  Eve has its own form of time killing, mining, ambushing, I do not see how one must be superior to another, it depends on who is paying for the account.  Half a million is paying for Eve, a few million for WoW, and they all appears to be willing to maintain the sub.  The comparison stops there, nothing superior, nothing more.

I am in no way better then anyone else on this forum due to a videogame I enjoy playing.

The poster simply asked me a question and I answered it honestly, If you don't like it tough.

Tbh that wasn't a slam toward WoW but every damn game with an endgame on the market including WAR (that i just now unsubbed to).

Have a good night

Indeed, this reply makes a lot more sense.  Your earlier reply consist of too many "sensitive" words.  I do not mean to say the OP is right, I just find your earlier reply a bit too sweeping.

And, have a good night, day, wherever you are.  Not everyone is in the States, not now for me.

Not the most efficient way to do the said daily's but put's all the information for those that are thottbot or wowhead challenged in a convenient writeup.
