PvP is very fun, especially in groups. Alone, if you're not a Sorc or Assassin, it's kinda difficult. Just find some buddies and start rolling around. :) |

As mark say's if your solo its gonna be hard, but man if you are in a 6 person party with some cleric's you can kick some serious ass. Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |

Sorcerer's and Spiritemasters have the most CC's, Cleric has a root skill but thats all I think. You can check here for all the skill list: www.areyouhellbound.com/forum/forumdisplay.php Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |

There isn't a lot of CC compared to Warhammer or even wow, and the long CCs are cut after minimal damage, and while in that status your defense and elemental resists are boosted, the timing of CCs is reduced in PvP, in PvE a sorcerer is pretty good in an instance if you run into troubles (controlled up to 5 mobs between my sorcerer and a ranger in Daumnir instance, level 47+) |

Can anyone explain this pvp in this game? Is it with a purpose or random?

Originally posted by lightingbird It's both random and has purpose You pvp in order to claim one of the fortress for your guild, If you get the fortress your guild collects 20mil right off the bat, Taxes are also collected by the fortress guild, special NPC sell the best gear to the owner of the fortress. Random pvp encounters happen all the time so you got to be on your guard all the time. The better at pvp the player is, the higher the rank you will get and you will get Abyss Points for PvE and PvP in the abyss. With these points you can buy elite weapons and armor that is geared towards PvP. But if you spend your points towards gear you will drop in rank. The highest ranking pvp'er for each side will be granted a skill that will transform your toon into a raid boss and everyone on the server will know your location on the map and via chat msg.
Hope that kinda explains it. Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries... |
