We all talk about crapy MMO's and what the publishers can do with em. But let me ask in all honesty what was your worst MMO? Mine had to been Warlords. Others may like it but i found it nasty in most aspects. movement, leveling and stats. there is so much more but ill keep from ranting. So hit this thread up, tell me of your worst MMO.

The worst mmo I've ever played is [insert name of asian fantasy style f2p mmo here]!!

Gekkeiju Online. I don't think what I can describe is OK by the TOS here. Let's just say your character, regardless of gender, was "used" by an orc and wakes up right after it. Then every character swears in dialogue. Also, animu!

If you really count it as one, Beyond Protocol wins my vote hands down. After that, it's a close call between Anarchy Online (mostly because the horrid first three months overshadowed everything..I've never had a character spend days trapped in a store in any other MMO) and Pirates of the Burning Sea. AoC might be a contender as well if you count games I only played the free trial of....AoC being the only one I stopped playing and uninstalled on day two.  

Although I should add as a caveat, I've never bothered even trying *any* of the free to play MMOs, their suckage for one reason or another is pretty much safe to assume imo.

Any Korean/Asian game I've played up to now, but the most abysmal pile of crap ever was Hellgate: London.

pay to play would be vanguard . free to play take your pic most are pretty awful . worst run mmo company turbine/codemasters not for there game content but their billing system that continued to charge me after i cancelled my account which disgusted me so much i wont ever play a codemasters mmo or single player game ever again .

For me it was Lineage 2. I hated the deleveling, the grinding, and the bugs like falling through the ground and getting stuck on rocks that should have been easy to move away from. I lasted two weeks before I gave up on it.

I've found best way around billing issues is using a pre-paid CC. And if I don't want to use that i'll just go use a pre-paid game card.

The Matrix Online

 Im sure there are worse games than the ones I name ... especially since both have made a ton of money for the same company. But I'd have to say Guild Wars ... first game I had to sell off within a week. Since when did being in an instance by yourself or small party constitute being massive? It was little more than a Diablo 2 with a city for a chat room.

 Lineage 2 was perhaps the other one but not becaause of poor game play. The amount of botters, farmers and gold sellers was absolutely horrible. The only people not complaining were people who could out level them since they didn't really care about leveling at the time. The pvp was somewhat of a joke as well. As always a handfull of people ruin it for everyone else with exploits and griefing.

Horizons... Of all the shitty MMOs I've played over the years, it simply stands out from the rest. Truly an achievement. Champion, victor; all other shitty MMOs bow down. Horizons... You are the pinnacle of suck.

Without a doubt EVE Online was the worst MMO I have ever played. Second would have to be SWG but only because the release of Jedi ruined the game.

RF Online. Never got so annoyed so fast in a new MMO.

Worst MMO? 

Hmm, maybe WOW, even though I play it still.  WOW, while playable, has dumbed down the entire genre and put it on linear quest themepark mode. 

Before WOW, MMO's had worlds, and consequences, and therefore felt somewhat alive and very immersive.  Since WOW, MMO design has gone downhill, with simplistic and easy being the rule of the day.  An analogy might be the classic horror films, which were very cool, being replaced by crap like Buffy or The Frighteners, stuff that is more popular but far less substantive.

I might get flamed for this but I most likely wont be rechecking the forum so flame away.  I think Dark Age of Camelot was a total garbage game,  Everything about it sucked, even the PVP. I dont care what anyone says, Ive played Lots of MMOs , over the past 13-14 years and that was by far the worst.
