Ya, this game is definately fun.  A good number of players here have been around since the Space Cowboy days and arent going anywhere.  Any game that can keep players around for that long has to be a decent one.

Great PVP action, multinational player base, GMs who actually listen to the players for suggestions for improving the game, and just all around great camaraderie .

Good for novice and vet players alike, easy to pick up and learn, but takes a while to master.

Many characters to choose from and 4 "Gears" to choose from,  the all powerful B-Gear Bomber, the Agile I-Gear, Support plane M-Gear, and the flying tank, the A-Gear. All have many different types of armor and colors for each.  All with different styles of playing.

If you are looking for a game to just come in and play either occasionally, or even one to play all the with all the spare time you have, this is the one for you, truly unique in its class. Some would even say addicting :)

The last and maybe the best thing about it is that its fully FREE to play!!!   Of course there are ingme items that you can purchase, none are a necessity of playing, they just enhance your experiences.

So come join up, shoot some people out of the sky, and have fun!!!

I’ve been playing ACE Online since it’s open beta and i have to say that’s a very accurate review.

The best part of this game, and IMO it is what makes it different from most MMOs, is the nation system. A player has to choose between BCU(Bygeniou City United) or ANI(Anti Nationalism Influence) as soon as it reaches level 11. Once the choice is made, he/she will be warped (teleported) to the city of your nation (Bygeniou for BCU and Arlington for ANI).

If you are a newcomer and have no clue about which nation to choose, just go to the Suba Games Forum and get your questions answered by our very active friendly community.

Just remember: you won’t be able to chat with players from the other nation, or enter their city. And once you decide which one to join, i suggest you stick with it ’til the end, cause players who quit their nation to join the other are often seen as traitors and usually have a hard time. But of course, there are exceptions…

Check more at Suba Games Forum(http://forum.subagames.com/index.php?p=5 ) and don’t be shy to post your questions

Ace Online was the first 3D Space-shooting mmo game that I played and I must say that I enjoyed it a lot. I had always wanted to play a MMO space shooter so with countless online searching; it had leaded me to this game. This game has that Star Fox 64 feel to it but in a much larger scale. This was the only game that I wasn't bored of because of all the wars that happen.

You can choose from 4 gears, each with a unique playing style and joining a nation at Lv11. Daily happy hours help boost exp gains and drop rates so people who just started can join in quickly to help their nation out. Strategic points and Mother ship battles tests the two nations where strategy and the unity of the nation decides the outcome.

Ace Online is definitely a game you should try out, so join and experience the true meaning of pvp.

Anyone else think its strange that three people posted in this thread all with no previous posts all with glowing reviews?

I think its strange.

I remember playing SCO occasionally before it closed, then played this during open beta. Was a nice break from the average mmo. The only reason I quit playing was due to getting a new pc,and subbing to a few p2p mmo's shortly after. When my subs are up I'll be downloading Ace once again until a mmo I'm looking forward to p2p comes along.

AoC didn't hold my interests,

Eve wasn't the type of flying game I enjoy,

LOTRO wasn't my cup of tea,

and Guildwars is just to blah for my tastes.

But somehow this f2p mmo was okay in my book.

It's an okay game, not as good as they (by they,I mean the kid who opened all 3 of those accounts) make it out to be. I like to fly and control my ship, shooting and such,is why I give it an "okay" rating.

Since you guys are wondering, there's a contest going on. Players have to write reviews and comments about ace online on mmo specialized websites in order to win prizes. We are all different people...and yes, our gms are nice and smart like that :p

It' really no different than when I first posted here months ago, only now the GM's are offering rewards to players for posting. In essence (since I've already posted my reviews on sites, I'm not eligible for prizes but here I am anyways), my previous reviews share my thoughts on the game, specifically how it takes itself out of the "Point and Click" style of play, and into a 6 Degree freedom of movement system not unlike the old game Descent (truly a classic. Still love that game), only with massive PvP that is primarily skill, not equipment based. The reason for this influx is due to SUBA (finally) starting to advertise their games (Metin 2, the add showing as I type this, is another one of their's), and ACE Online is (in my opinion) the best, but least well known. Basically the ACE players are trying to get the word out, show how great the game is, and raise server population because, in this game, the more players there are, the more fun it is due to a LOT more PvP happening. Please don't think they're spammers or something, they're just trying to get the word out to those who may be considering an MMOFPS game, because this game really is a hidden gem.
