No, it was a odd game called Meridian 59 a long time ago. It actually invented a lot of things that we see in games like Wow today but it was too early since most people still had dial up modems. I took a break after that, then I started Lineage (betatested it actually). Then I took a few years off again before I started Guildwars. A few years ago I tried EQ2 and liked it (just after EoF). Then I started AoC at launch but got back to EQ2 a month ago, this time bringing soem old friends that are tired of Wow. So, no. I never played Wow (I was looking forward to it while Jeff Strain was the boss of it but when he jumped of I lost interest). And I played MMOs for more than 10 years with some shorter and longer stops. I also tried ot a lot of other games but not for long. |

No my first was EQ around the time of Luclin I believe it was...maybe a little after. My other major first MMO (I didn't stay with EQ that long) was DAOC when it first came out and I played the game forever. |

FFXI was my first, then RFO, then EVE, then WoW, then back to eve and FFXI. Since then i've been a bit of a vagrant and tried AoC, LoTRO, Tabula Rasa, Lineage, CoX, Requiem, Runes of Magic, Ether Saga etc... Too many, i think i'm burning out lol |

No, Earth & Beyond was my first paid for MMO and the one i still miss the most to be honest. It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays. |

No, SWG was my first MMO. I have a feeling a lot of the people on this site won't have WoW as a first MMO, simply because this site tends to attract the more hardcore MMOers, simply by design. Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic |

Anarchy Online was my first... then Final Fantasy XI... and the first MMO I enjoyed was Star Wars Galaxies. It was quite a while before I tried WoW MMOs played (In order of how much I've liked them): Star Wars Galaxies, Warhammer Online, City of Villains / Heroes, World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, Guild Wars, Tabula Rasa, Anarchy Online, Ryzom, Final Fantasy XI, Matrix Online, RF Online, Rappelz, Hero Online, Roma Victor |

I wager for most WoW was their first MMO. many may hate WoW, but WoW did the industry a favor by bringing in a huge number of new players off the Xbox and back onto the PC |

My first MMO was City of Heroes closely followed by Guild Wars. If you don't count that one MUD I played for a month before my parents banned me from the internet in 1997... my first mmo was horizons but only play that for a week. my first real mmo was star wars galaxies..every 5 minutes i had that wow moment..it was amazing. |
