People are angry because of AV claim that they had software and tech in place to not allow such a thing and they had an advanced this and that for detection and I suppose they should have just said you tube.

Yes, it is.

AV knew ahead of time that this would be a problem, it's common sense. Yet, instead of implementing proper anti-cheating measures into they're game, they chose not too and now have cheaters running rampant as a result.

It was completely AVs responsibility to ensure proper prevention of these types of occurences, it really isn't a hard concept to grasp. Only the most deluded of fanboys would even try to defend AV in this regard.

So after he gets shut down, now he is comparing a MMO to a FPS? lol wow, I can't believe it, WSIMike you was correct.

The funniest part of the entire situation, and what angers some of the more savy players and programmers, is that a game that was in development for 8 years falls victim to the simplest hacks, and they ARE wide spread, do not let the biased opinions fool you. It is a client-based game, it will continue to fall victim to simple hack progs and scripts until they implement a "game guard" system on the clients computer like similar MMOs.

I wonder how the fanboys would've responded if SOE had made Darkfall with all its flaws? Things that make you go hmmmmm

Isn't it strange that we still use the term "Caught on tape" even though we don't use video TAPE at all anymore?

So.....i dont get this at all.

This topic is about a video of a DF hacker getting caught on tape on youtube ( yes, tape sounds a bit weird). And some fans are glad they do get caught : )

Then you say we only deny them. That there is no point of speaking about it?? But we have the video proving there is hackers!

And then you try and say we use the "strawmen argument" when we try and make people understand there is hackers in all MMOs. So talk about someone who dont want to reason. And just try and win a "debate". I only suspect you dont like DF. And anyone liking DF, and show some good fact......you might deny there is something good instead. Wich will lead to that myself will get alot of time to practice my writtenn english here (wich i need). And that make me happy : )

There are more hackers in COD, because COD has a larger playerbase... 

Darkfall was infested with hacker within weeks after it's release. Why is it that the only people who don't want to talk about Darkfall, the same people always defending this turd? I bought and played the game. I knew immediatly that it was made by a 3rd rate developer and that the status of this game was post alpha. Me and my two friends canceled on the same day and never looked back.
 

Not even sure how I ended up here, because we started playing Chronicles of Spellborn and that game's PvP is spectacular. Absolutely no way to pick that game's combat apart, because it's suberb. Not to mention it's FREE to d/l and try...  because the game sells itself.

Secondly, there is no refute to Mike's arguement! He pinned you to the wall Daarco and portrayed you as you are. I've just looked into your post history and you ineed invoke the strawman arguement to befuddle the argument at hand. Your stict is uncovered and exposed. Thankyou for taking the time to make that post, explains exactly why I've had such a fascination with the ardent supporters of this game for over 8 years now, even whilst I was one of those not so ardent supporters myself many years ago.

Darkfall and its passionate community is very much the People's Republic of North Korea of MMO's in my opinion.
