What MMO that has at least been announced in some form are most looking forward to and why? As of me im not really sure as of now. That is kind of the reason for this. Want to see if maybe theres an mmo i dont know about or some feature in a game that I didnt know about. -Gosh you're cute. Wanna buy a monkey? |

Mortal Online, because I'm tired of all these cookie cutter MMOs and EvE Online has gotten boring. |

http://squaremmo.blogspot.com/ ...because the game engine is familiar, the company has a good pedigree, I think they have learned a lot from FFXI... and there's not a lot else on the horizon that interests me. I have no idea what SE really wants to do with the game, but it will likely offer some depth to enjoy. |

I'm not really interested in this years line up so far or the upcomming list atleast.
I'll probably keep a close eye on Aion though. |

It'll probably be a long time before there's an MMO I'm looking forward to. Darkfall looked good for a while but I heard it flopped, so I'm thinking I probably won't play it. |

I played Aion in the Chinese open beta, and i got to say that the game was really refreshing. Nothing new to offer from the basic stuff thats already out. But for me it offers a new world and a very deep character creation, you are almost garanteed not to see a clone of your character running around. Like i said it doesnt bring anything new to the table but your standard mmo fair, but thats not a bad thing in this case. Alot of games tried to offer something new and different in the way of UIs, gameplay, and various other things but failed badly. But here Aion keeps things simple and for playing from halfway across the world i gotta say the game ran smoothly, now i gotta wait for the NA/EU launch |

I've played Aion, and will say it is a nice game considering it has not been officially brought to NA yet. I began following it in its very early stages and know that once it is officially brought to NA its other components will come to life and it will show it's true colors for english players. I could find a number of things to pick at but I'll leave that out until I can experience it as aforementioned. One major drawback for me is the implementation of factions. Personally, regardless of which title, I find the idea of having factions deplorable. It doesn't take long to realize that obviously not everyone who decides to play on a given faction will automatically get along with each other and not attempt to compete or take advantage of one another. It creates a type of environment that I feel takes away from the 'MMO feel'. Before I get too off topic though, I will say that I'm looking forward to Tera and the prospects it holds that will hopefully be capitalized on. I've been away from MMOs for a while so there are probably a couple others out there with potential relevant to my interests. |

There is not one single game I am looking forward to. Their all the same old rehashed tired formula. I wish someone would make a fantasy setting/type EVE game - I'd play that in a second. |

This year there isn't much that is big. Only real surefire bet is Aion. It's nothing too radically different than WoW, but so far from my experience it's an improvement over WoW. Should be fun for several months. There are plenty of ambitious projects like Fallen Earth, Earthrise, and Mortal Online, but they might be a bust. Down the road there is a lot of interesting MMOs coming out to keep an eye on: Bioware's KOTOR Star Wars game Blade and Soul Terra (sp?) Online Squaresoft's next MMO Guild Wars 2 Blizzard's next MMO Possibility of Bethesda making a Fallout MMO The Secret World

I want a huge open skill based world entirely run by players with endless options, not just killing, crafting and exploring! ...and for fracks sake, stop with the retarded-ass armor set raid-grinding already and kill 10x of y, or delivery quests... Just stop making quests all together and only have storyline mission like FFXI. |

Black Prophecy now. It used to be JumpGate Evolution, but after the recent gameplay video of bosses in asteroids and moving your spaceship around looks like an arcade game I came to realize they've turned it into Auto Assault in space, so Black Prophecy wins the days with it's gameplay video footage showing a Sci Fi space MMO I've been waiting for. |

Well because you said please.... Right now, im most excited about Aion. I never played Lineage 1 or 2, but I always wanted too. I was reluctant because for the longest time I heard it took forever to level up in L2 and that half the server was bots. Im also eagerly awaiting Blizz's next mmorpg, whatever it is. At this point, whatever Blizz does is gold. "The WoW forums are and have always been, the true heartbeat of the game. Having said that... RIP wow. You had a good run." - MAnalog 10/13/10 So WoW is dead? |

I'm looking forward for: Guild Wars 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
I have been a fan of GW for a long time and I enjoyed when it was extremely active. And for SWTOR I really liked KOTOR 2 and I finish it like 3 times and I hope they bring something different....not a whole new game but a nice somewhat new game.

Star Trek Online because even though I do personally think Cryptic is screwing it up somewhat the fact remains that I'm a huge Star Trek nerd so I will still play. Star Wars: The Old Replubic gets an honorable mention for basically the same reasons as STO. I'm just not quite as much of a Star Wars junkie but I'll probably still give it a shot.
