Whyd you quit playing WoW or GW?
Speaking of "Hammer"
Warhammer: Age of Reckoning - this just might be the MMO you might be looking for.
The game doesn't demand for a really "hardcore" machine to run it so I think you might be ok with that. |

cheers mate , can you recormend anymore than warhammer? i did try it actually (forgot to mention that) - i wasw playing it for 2 months when it first came out but the populations just plumited and it was dead so i quit. i stoped playing wow because of the WOTLK.... there are far too many DK's and also i thought they took all the "hardcore-ness" out of the game.... you can have amazing gear in no time at all, it used to be a challage! .... its now not unfortunatly. as for GW, i played it to death! such a fantastic game and i love the PvP aspect more than anything but as you do with most games i grew weiry of it and the guild fell apart :( it was at this time i went to WoW anyway, iv downloaded the trial version of vanguard, will see how that goes i think. if anyone has anymore recormendations it would be good to hear them, i just want to see what the popular ones are, odviously if the popular they cant be bad can they!?!? if im honest with eveyone i have been a little blinkered and followed the horde so to speak with reguards games - where my mates have gone i have followed but i feel its time to remove the blinkers and seach out a new MMO. cheers guys.

I read carefully your posts. Vanguard depending on your system ( if has agp card for example and not pci-e especially nv 7000 series or equal ati ) will not be so great looking as the screenies show it and it will Probably ( been a while since i played it, with my previous machine ) be hickup-ing . IF you dont mind being PK'ed and you are into PvP Lineage 2 perhaps would suit you. Mhmmm warhammer perhaps as well ( i think i read you tried it out). EQ2 : i hear alot of good words on it , and i am dload the trial myself as we speak , Lotro with main focus on pve. City of games if you are into superhero genre. Some find FFXI nice as well, really if you could define a bit more what you liked of each game and what you enjoy the most the list can be narrowed down , also the stickies provide alot of info ! |

It wasn't. Not sure what those guys are talking about =P I suggest you go ahead and try out Vanguard like you planned. Chances are you'll liike it. You should also try out City of Heroes/Villians. Really though, you should do what I just did. Find every single MMO trial and f2p game that looks interesting at all and download it. Try out 3 a night or however many you can get downloaded in time. See what you really enjoy the most and stick with it. I tried that and ended up subscribing to vanguard. I've got a whole desktop full of MMOs now :D If nothing else, it'll be a fun waste of time. |

DAOC has a 14 day trial. Give it a shot, and if you like it, you don't have to buy the game, you will just have to pay the $15.00 a month after the initial 14 days.
Go hammer it! Currently Playing: Nothing worth playing |
