Maybe this is one reason I liked swg.  There werent really quests like there are in other mmos.  It seems like more of a fantasy word and not a sci fi modern or anything with guns kinda world.  swg had missions and places you could go to fight harder mobs for better loot.  Not instances or dungeons ( at least not untill nge(boo)).  I dont know I think terminaology plays a psychological role in game enjoyment.  What do you guys think?

Couldn't agree more.  The only "quest" in pre-CU SWG was the quest to become a Jedi, which was a personal quest if you chose to undertake it and wasn't written down anywhere.  Everything else was a mission, and should have been labeled as such.  Calling a directive to kill 10 meatlumps a "quest" is just more obvious thievery from WoW.
