I was just wondering if someone could tell me if there are limits and caps with the trial. If there are not, that is the way to do trial. It will keep me playing for the whole seven days and want more of it. Game On. |

I do not believe there are any level caps. HOwever, I wager the farthest any typical player will get in 7 days is lev 30-40. |

Right On, becauase i think that capping and limiting turns players off. Game On. |

For a person doing an honest 'trial', I don't think it matters. In WOW, you get a cap of lvl 20 and 10 days. Well, if you never played the game before and are just trying to see if you like it's gameplay.. you will never get much past lvl 20 in 10 days. The same is true of Warhammer with it's cap at lvl 10. The only people who really benefit from no caps are the players who are never going to pay to play the game, but are just going to do trial after trial. Old vets could abuse the WOW trial if it had no cap.. it would be fairly easy to get to lvl 80. Trial accounts are made for new players to try the game play, not for vets to have competitions to see how high they can level in 10 days. Also, the higher you allow players to go, the more damaging nefarious people's actions become. For instance, in WOW, how would you like to do a lvl 80 dungeon with someone who ninjas the last boss's loot because his trial account is ending tomorrow. Trials are easily abused by gold-sellers and just people out to do harm to the game for their own amusement. The other reason to add a cap is that you encourage new players to explore the depth of the game rather than just speed through content to level as fast as possible. |
