Cheer's downloading mine as i type. Quick question what speed do you allow for upload's? Just that I've notice it's bit of a slow download speed, 531mb at about 44 kps finishing in about 3hrs or so, is that right? 90% of the world is ignorant.. The other 10% just don''t give a fuck.. |
yodablaze. I sent you a message, explaining my situation.. |
Originally posted by yodablaze Um, please do not troll this topic as I do believe it is against these forum rules. Also it isn't good taste to make players who purchased this game from reading this thread alone feel stupid for liking something you haven't even played. If we did something wrong, they wouldn't be going out of their way to let people know about it. I didn't start this topic, a player who liked this game did. If this game does not interest you, please I beg, ignore it.
Not cool to accuse people of trolling just because they don't have a 100% positive opinion about the game. This site is for players to discuss games. Quizzical made vaild points. |

A quick overview of info gathered from this thread and official site:
Fasaria World URL - http://fasariaworld.com - A pre-release trailer is available - The game is using the RealmCrafter engine - notable features include Combat, Farming, Karma and Housing - the three races are Celestis Angelica, Mystic Elves, Human - currently there is a $9.99 intro price for the game. normally $40 - a team member is replying to questions - the customer support issue that was posted (download link) was resolved quickly (very good sign)
Feature Info: Resource Gathering - the game offers farming and mining. Special attributes and medals are gained through advancement in these skills. The system is intended to be easy to use and not complex. Players cannot be a dedicated crafter/gatherer as the turns to do these tasks are gained through combat. Farming is explained in more detail in a reply by Yodablaze in this thread. Combat - CTRL key to attack. Timered skills available for each class Housing - Property can be obtained and can be used for both functional and decorative purposes. Personal farms and mines can be set up on property. Property can also be used for storage of items and for setting up player-run vendors. Experience - XP is gained towards multiple paths. Class, Crafting and Karma some areas of progression available. Karma - Information will appear on the official site about Karma soon per yodablaze Other - Was looking to add more from the official site but the site lacks a features list. It does have a user reviews section. The reviews posted are very positive but offer no further insight into the features of the game.
Hope that helps people who are jumping into the thread late. :)

I'm a little suprised the moderators have let this go on for as long as it has. Fasaria World has basically set-up shop on MMORPG.com. littlemonkey |

ok i just bought it for $10.....I dont know what I just bought but I'll let you know.
sounds interesting. Can every goal in the game be achived from within the game or am I going to need to fund additonal resources into the game to accomplish the tasks?

Sorry, but ruining the game's qualities by saying it's "old school EQ to the liking" is in very poor taste. The game is nothing similar to old school EQ and is merely a "trying point" to get attention for the game in a comparitive manner. I've seen numerous videos on gameplay & the trailer on youtube, and I have to say it looks more like an asian grinder than anything, regardless of the nationality of it's developers.
With all that said, I commend those trying the game out for the intro price of $9.99, and hope those who enjoy playing it many years of happyness with the game. However, don't come on MMORPG.com and start spewing rubbish about how this game is like "so and so old-school game" when it's NOT even similar.

ok it says in your store that you can purchase platinum medals, so aswell as purchasing the game with no monthly fees its actually funded like an item mall? |

Originally posted by Rekindle Good question. 1. There is only one item sold in our shop and they are platinum medals. These medals are used in game to trade in for special items and special features. The great thing about it is that platinum is NOT exclusive to our store. There are tons of ways to earn Platinum in game by earning bronze medals, trading it in for silver medals and trading those in for gold that you then trade in for platinum. The in store platinum is a bonus. 2. We did not design the game to make you hit a brick wall thus forcing you to purchase goods, everything in game can be earned through hard work and dedication. 3. Our game is one time payment, no mothly fees. Buying V.I.P packages for platinum medals is a very modest contribution. Many F2P games will get at least $300 out of you before you get anywhere in the game. What we offer is an honest bonus.

@yoda im having some problem getting the game to start i paid downloaded and installed but everytime i try to start the game it tells me the update server is currently down. From what i know there isnt any major event going on for the servers to be down so long (2hrs already) so how do i solve this? |
|
|
The server is currently up. Contact us directly regarding this so we can better help you get started. EDIT: You do understand that you have to log into your store account to get access to the download. You can NOT get the download through the promo offer any more. That deal is long expired. |

There are many completely free to play games out there FAR better than this game, why in the world would anyone pay for it? Sorry, but the market has completely passed you by. |

Originally posted by Ozmodan If it's not regarding your interest for this game or questions regarding the game, there is no real reason to post other than for ill intent. Just pretend this topic does not exist. 1. A lot of people do not like F2P games, the communities or the type of people they attract so they'll pay for a game rather than deal with that. Because we aren't begging for any or everybody to join, it attracts some players who would like to be part of a tighter nit and mature community. 2. A lot of people don't believe your statement is true obviously. I honestly don't. 3. Smart people understand with most F2P games, you will pay a price eventually and often times more than some subscription based games. A lot of players would rather just pay up front what the game is worth. 4. Our game is a one time fee, no monthly fees. A great community, great game, low risk. |

Here's what that means. If you're not gonna be one of my paid-to-praise automatons...well, you just shut your mouth. littlemonkey |

I'm pretty sure Yodablaze knew what he was going to be up against coming on a website like MMORPG.com's forums and marketing his game. These forums breed negativity.. I played it and it is a very decent game for an indie job. I am sure it took alot of work. I haven't really seen to much yet, just went to the training area (which does need a little more direction). But it reminds me of games like Saga of Ryzom. Its a sandbox. |

Paid to praise? That doesn't make sense. You insult the intellegence of every member of this site that had something nice to say about this game. Everyone that has spoken anything kind was done without compinsation or obligation. You could always ignore Fasaria World but to concentrate on it with ill intent means that the game or presentation must be good enough for you to take so much notice, the only problem is that you don't want to for some personal reason. My advice is to ignore Fasaria World and not insult the intelligence of other players. I believe this forum makes rules to guard against trollers so I'm not alone on this one. Players have the right to like what they want to like. Making someone who likes something feel like an idiot for liking it is pointless. People have the right to like what they want and if you don't like it, move along. No need to post, insult or indulge because you may feel left out. I never made a topic here nor encouraged one to be made but since it's here, please ignore it if this game does not iterest you. |

Originally posted by Vyeth Didn't mean to double post but missed this one. Thanks for the kind words. I hope you do enjoy the game. EDIT: Also to add, I would have NEVER posted my game in this discussion board because of it. Games like Darkfall that I was very interested in playing myself (yes I enjoy other developer's work) seemed to have so many negative feedback on top of other players trying to defend it or simply share their excitement. Seeing this, I would have avoided posting here because of such negative remarks, but since it was done, I'm kind of glad it happened. A lot of members here are very nice like yourself. This topic helped provide us a lot of exposure and I like this site a lot. I don't know how many players purchased this game off of this topic alone but it has to be over 10. There are good people here. I'm not new to forum discussions or debates, I've been running our communities very actively for years but some of the comments I've seen so far seemed a little over offensive. |

I breefly scanned over some of Ozmodan's and littlemonkey's recent posts and they all seem to be attacking someone or something, but that could just be me. Anyways I had asked a few questions earlier that were never addressed maybe because they were all mashed together because I was pressed for time so I'll ask them again here and make them easier to see. Would I be able to buy someone else this game using my account for like gifting purposes? Is there a limit to how many skills you can learn and how high you can get each one? You mentioned being able to gather citizens and soldiers. Does that mean I can go from owning a House/Farm to owning a city? What kind of items can we craft? Can we craft weapons and armor? Is there a way to tell who crafted each Item? |
