Well since a lot of players had a chance to already play it, I wanna ask about my biggest concern. I've yet to see a korean game that isn't a grindfest so I'm asking how hard is it to reach max level and are there levels where you have to kill over 1000 monsters to level up?

It's been known for years that this isn't a grindfest. At least not like early Lineage 2.

There are people who think LOTRO is a grind so it's all subjective.

The devs had said that it would be slightly harder than WoW was for 1-50 to reach max level.

I have heard from guild members it takes lot of grinding to go from lv 40-50 and you cannot do that just from questing ?

Little grind is fine. I just don't like leveling like in Perfect World or Flyff where you need thousands of mobs for 1 level. Thanks :)

I loved the level walls in Lineage 2.  I found the frustration so comical that I pictured the developers as Satan himself.

In the same context, accomplishing the next level did make it all that much more rewarding.  You'd see a level 50 running around and know that he has to go through hell to get to 52 lol.

Im playing on both KR Retail and Test servers and it doesnt feel like a grind fest. I cant really tell you about the quality of the quests but they seem on par or slightly better than  what is out there today. I have not tried to do any of the big armor quests / crafting exercises yet but that might put some people off.

I played it in korea for 4 months and I have to say no.  It does take a little longer to lvl up when you get around lvl30+ but keep in mind I did not do most of the quest and a little grind is needed in order to restock your gold and get better items. (For the most part I never bought armor in AH unless I just had to).
