Not as good as a Minstrel, but they're ok, and I think the Warden has self heals.

Warden can activate small heal over time with certain gambits ( spear moves )

Runekeeper has mostly heal over time plus has his healing ally that he place on the ground that emanate another group HOT

Ministrel are really you true healer with group morale heals and strong single target ones .

Captain can heal as well through different ways when an enemy die and single target ones .

As of right now RK's have OP dps so you will see alot of those running around most of them in group wanna dps not heal.

The runekeeper can heal very well not as good as minstrels mind you and wardens can heal themselves but I don't think they can heal others.

The new classes weren't meant to replace any of the existing classes, but rather to supplement them.

The Warden is a passable tank. Medium armor, offset by some self heals. So you basically get better dps than tanks typically have, balanced by lesser tanking capability. If your group has a tank, the Warden will be handy with his dps and the ability to pick up an add or step in if the tank goes down. If there's no tank in the party, then the Warden can handle that role -- especially if a Minstrel is around to help keep him alive.

The Rune-Keeper is also a hybrid class. You can focus on dps or healing, but not both at the same time. If your group has a Minstrel, you'll focus on dps and only switch to healing in a pinch. If your group doesn't have a Minstrel, you can step in and handle healing through most situations.

All of this means that for both classes, you aren't as pigeon-holed as with one of the core classes. Having a less clearly defined role gives you more flexibility and lets you fill holes in a group's make-up. BUT this does also come at the price of always being able to be beat out in any particular role by one of the core classes.

The Minstrel is still the BEST healer in the game. That will probably never change. They're just no longer the only DECENT healer.

Captains are great back up healers and even good main healers if you spec them right. i personaly went with the branch that is more of an off tank/ dps, but they can heal and i seen them heal very very well.

Lore Master is a backup healer. Lore Master also can remove some annoying status effects, such as wounds and disease. I'm surprised no one mentioned the Lore Master class.

Back in EvE. Started with BatMUD. Main MMOs have been EvE and DAoC.
