I just resub'ed for the 10 day trial on my account and am in need of advice.  I have Order characters and Destruction characters so I'm looking for the best server for each at this moment?  I'm not sure if things have changed, but I remember when I played during release the only way to get fast queues for the scenarios was to be a huge underdog  as far as population goes.  Is this still the case?  My order of priorities are the following:

 

1)  Very active world pvp and scenarios

2)  Ability to be able to compete against the other team in world pvp

3)  High population

One more question...  I don't remember the difference between the core and open rvr servers.  Am I correct in saying the core servers can only engage the opposite faction in the RVR areas and the open can engage anywhere?

Core servers you are only flagged for rvr in rvr areas.  In open rvr, you are always flagged for rvr.

iron rock is a pretty decent core server. but i will say this....if you join a server and its not as populated as you hooped, you can always transfer to another server for free.

as long as you are still in tier 1 i think.
